412 has been delivered

Recommended Posts

We arrived at the Mothership at 9:30 AM and departed at 3:15 with Oliver Hull Number 412. We drove to David Crockett State Park and got set up. Oliver picked up the tab for the site. It is a beautiful park. The campground host stopped by and made sure things were good. The Oliver was winterized when we picked it up and we decided to leave it that way while we camp the next couple of days. Oliver gave us a couple of camping location options and we are very happy that we chose the state park. After spending 150 nights in a tent last year, this is total comfort.

Davy Crockett is beautiful! And so is your new Ollie! Congrats, #412, and have a wonderful time.

Hope you have as much fun as we have had in #12...

Darryl and Kim, congrats! We haven’t tried David Crockett SP but will put it on our list. Hope to see you on the road! Mike

Congratulations on hull 412 delivery! We’re 413 and are getting even more excited now. Any pick up tips or suggestions would be welcome, although the forum provides lots of insight. Great job with the decorating- love the red!

We definitely wanted to stay in the area one night so follow up questions can be ask in person if needed. We are grateful that we decided to stay to stay at Crockett State Park. This gave us the opportunity to drive an hour away to a very nice park that had very nice facilities. Campground 2 and site 102. The furnance works awesome. Chose to keep it winterize. Not able to check certain systems but right choice for us. It can be overwhelming and it was but we are newbies. There was not one issue that came up that this forum had not prepped me for. We are happy that Oliver owners are so helpful.

Darryl & Kim -

I'm guessing that the Coors light on the nightstand helped too! Glad to hear that all has worked out well for the two of you and you are now "on the road". Hopefully the two of you can get to this year's Owner's Rally and we will have a chance to meet in person. Also, glad that the Forum was of some help to you. Remember the old motorcycle saying, "black things down and shiny side up".

Bill,

Yes, Coors Light, is my choice. I made reservations today for the rally. I need to learn as much as possible from people who own Oliver's. Cheers! Darryl

We are the proud owners of hull # 414 which was the very last 2018 model produced. We however, won't take delivery until 1 May due to some scheduled medical procedures (hip replacement) that will put a "hitch in my giddy-up" for a couple of months. We're excited to see others taking delivery of their units and having such good luck. We too plan on being at the rally in May.
