Blum-Anderson
Water started dripping from the curbside rear speaker. I removed the speaker, panel in the attic and some of the insulation inside the cupboard. Source seems to be the center break light or maybe the back-up camera. I cannot tell just yet because the leak is slow. It’s been going on a while, it’s wet under the cupboard mat. Anyone else had this problem? #

Moderators SeaDawg Posted February 7, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 7, 2020 I doubt it will happen at pickup, or in the first severalyears. Our first leak at the light was 6 or 7 years in, as i recall Stuff happens. Hulls flex, over the miles. Leaks around lites/ ports happen on our 40 plus year old sailboat, usually at the smallest, tightest radiuses, earlier. The added issue with the third tail light on the Oliver is no real eyebrow, on our older elite. Maybe next year, when we update some of the eyebrow/ rv gutter material, we'll add a little strip above. So far, so good. Every six years for a reseal is not a really big deal. Trainman
Ran into a fellow Oliver owner at the Casita Rally in Grapeland, Texas last year and he had the same problem, turned out to be the seal around the A/C unit. He said, the seal was installed improperly, required removing the A/C unit and reinstall with a new seal. Hope this isn't your problem, but there are very few things that can leak on the roof of the Oliver. trainman 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears.
