awise Posted July 2, 2020 Posted July 2, 2020 We have not camped as much this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. We recently did a camping trip from Georgia up to our daughters in Illinois. We selected a couple of Harvest Host sites on the trip to stay at that were outstanding. The scenery was beautiful at both places- Casey Jones Distillery in Kentucky and Sullivan Creek Ranch in Alabama. The host were great, limited campers, and the camping spots were level without having to disconnect and setup. If you are looking for isolated or very few campers , you may enjoy staying at a Harvest Host site. You can google them for more information. Hull #421 2 2
Moderators Mike and Carol Posted July 2, 2020 Moderators Posted July 2, 2020 We joined Harvest Hosts last month. I’m hoping to use it this month and next as we travel to CO and AZ. I’ve already checked out some spots in September to get us to the rally in Alabama. We’ll see! Mike Texas Hill Country | 2016 Elite II #135 | 2020 Ram 2500 6.7L
Patriot Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 (edited) We just joined Harvest Hosts this morning. We used discount code MARCH which dropped the annual membership to a one time new member price of $67.15. The regular price is $79 annually. It will be interesting to see how this works out for us. Using it once or twice will likely pay for itself and it surely will beat a Walmart or Cracker Barrel parking lot. Happy Travels! If you visit any of the winery’s or distillery’s you will definitely have to stay the night. Taste testing🤪 2 2 Grant 2022 GMC Denali 2500 HD 2019 Elite 11😎
BackofBeyond Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 Well - tried two different places for Sat - on our route - both were full. I really wanted to taste their craft beer. Gave up - grabbed a $13 COE site, just a little farther down the road. Seems I am gonna have to try a few weeks sooner .. darn. 2 Cindy, Russell and "Harley dog" . Mcb Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 We recently stayed at Licon Dairy, south of El Paso through harvest hosts.. glad we did, and would recommend it. They’ve got great cheese and other goodies and were great folks. 1 5 Mark & Deb..2020 Elite II..Dearie..Hull #685..2016 Tundra
