For those that (1) find battery storage in an Oliver trailer to be too constrained and (2) have sufficient resources to really splurge...

Omg. We have successfully camped off grid, for 13 seasons, without that almost 300k price tag. Wow.

Guess it depends on if you're willing to "camp", and dial back on your power needs?

Malcolm called the other day and told me that he and Ursula had moved on from their Super C to an LV. His will have over 3000 watts of solar on the roof and enough battery power to run one of the two A/C units constantly including a full size residential fridge. The thing is over 30 feet long and weighs 18000 pounds. The company requires you to have proof of ownership of a 1 ton truck as a tow. It sounds nice but for $460K it should be.

Maybe he could bring it to the next rally and we’ll put an Oliver Elite IV sign in the window!  Should we PM him and ask him to post a picture on the forum?

I suppose you could sell your home, and live full time in the LV and come out ahead.  I wonder, is it licensed for the road?  Wouldn't be paying property tax in Oregon, unless you own a patch of land to park it on.
