i would like to replace my Garmin  2460 LMT, looking at the Garmin RV 890

Reading the RV890 manual, i am not seeing that you can upload non *.GPX maps (www.mapstogo.com),  Am i missing something?

later edit - the reviewer was experiencing a Hardware error, "NUT LOOSE ON THE KEYBOARD..."  Maps he was trying to upload were not Compatible with Garmin Software.

My current Garmin is a nuvi 2797LM 7 inch screen.  I've never had a bit of trouble with it but the 890 is more RV related.  I figure that I'll get the 890, try it out for a day or two and if it is not better then I'll simply return it.  If it is better then I'll offer up the nuvi for sale here in the classifieds.

I always buy my GPS, etc. from these guys,   https://g.factoryoutletstore.com/cat/18937/Garmin-7-Inch-GPS.html  I purchased the 61LMT-S 7" model for a lot less money as you can see in the ad. This GPS does just about everything and weather and traffic can be added and still spend less then $200. I have an iPhone that will do the extras if needed for free. I guess you buy what you think you will need, but we all know most of what we pay for is never used.
