dewdev Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Do people remove their KTT mattresses and dinette cushions during storage in the Snowie winter from the Ollie? Thanks 2018 Oliver Elite II, Twin Bed, Hull #354 2024 RAM 1500, 4 x 4; Gas. 5.7L V8 Hemi MDS VVT Torque; 3.21 rear axle ratio w/TIMBREN spring rear suspension Maine
Moderators SeaDawg Posted May 24, 2021 Moderators Posted May 24, 2021 When we store our Ollie, in cold or heat, , we either plank the cushions on end, or remove them. Same with the boat. We don't have mattresses. I'd at least angle them, for more airflow 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar. DC compressor fridge. No inverter. 2 x 105 ah agm batteries . Life is good.
Moderators topgun2 Posted May 24, 2021 Moderators Posted May 24, 2021 I remove my single mattress but leave the cushions as SeaDawg describes. 2023 Ford F150 Lariat 3.5EB FX4 Max Towing, Max Payload, 2016 Oliver Elite II - Hull #117 "Twist" Near Asheville, NC
marsharini Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 We leave everything in during the Michigan winter, including the mattress. Prior to getting the Froli system for the bed, we did put the mattresses on their side, and a couple buckets of Damp Rid helps. 1 Ed and Marsha Legacy Elite II, Hull #85 Ford F150 Lariat
Moderators SeaDawg Posted May 24, 2021 Moderators Posted May 24, 2021 @marsharini How do you like the Froli system? Do you think it adds comfort as well as airflow? 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar. We installed it just prior to putting it away for the winter. I’ll post an update once we get a chance to use it. 1 Ed and Marsha Legacy Elite II, Hull #85 Ford F150 Lariat
