BBL Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Recently, we stopped by a local RV dealer to get some supplies. As usual, there was a salesman out front and asked if he could show us something. I said, no, we are just here for supplies then I pointed and said you should sell those. He said tractors? And I said, no, Oliver Travel Trailers. He said, I have never seen one, heard they were really expensive and they only sell direct. I replied, I can confirm two of those! I then commented about the tractor. I have never seen one of these before but heard they were very expensive and hard to find. He agreed. Brian 8 1

John E Davies Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 I actually see Oliver tractors and other heavy farm equipment listed fairly often on Craigslist, maybe there were more sold in the West? Current ads: There are also all sorts of stuff like mills and lathes, and even a bagel slicer, tho I expect that is not actually the same company 😬: It would be fun to have a bunch of Oliver tools. I am still waiting on the long ago promised Oliver Online Store so I can buy some Ollie shirts. Any updates on that? I think I’ll convince him to give it up eventually then maybe I’ll attach it to the front of my trailer! Mike 3 Texas Hill Country | 2016 Elite II #135 | 2020 Ram 2500 6.7L

Corvus Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 I don't know which model, but the first powered vehicle I learned to drive was an Oliver tractor around the age of ten. Spent a lot of time the next few years helping out in the orange grove, peach orchard and gardens. Until I got my automobile operators permit and interest changed. Now seeing an Oliver tractor brings back some fond memories. 2 1 Jerry & Kathy 2019 LEII Standard #539 + 2019 Tundra Limited 4X4
2008RN Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 At age ten that would be a blast. I didn't have the opportunity to drive a tractor until I was in my 20s. Had the chance to cut and rake a field so it could be baled. Spent a whole day doing it. I Loved it. Early 1999 Ford F250 SD 7.3L Diesel 2020 Elite II Twin - Hull # 648
