Something has to give.. The average American can't afford a 1k per month payment for a pickup truck.

Sure wish they would get away from who has the most horse power and torque race  and more about best quality, rust protection and longevity. The design obsolescence approach drives me crazy. They can keep their trucks I’m good for a while.

How about lowering them back to the height they were in the 70s and 80s? You shouldn't need a step ladder to reach into the bed of your truck. Makes no sense.

....but, the step ladder is now part of the tailgate - the ladder "comes-with"!  HA!
