Steph and Dud B Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Looks like the Big 3 are starting to accumulate a surplus of pickup trucks. Maybe we'll see some price concessions? https://www.autoblog.com/2023/02/25/gm-truck-production-cut/ https://www.motor1.com/news/654342/chevy-silverado-gmc-sierra-production-pause-high-inventory/ 3 Stephanie and Dudley from CT. 2022 LE2, Hull #1150: Eggcelsior. John E Davies Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Video - Cars Return to Dealer Lots. Interest Rates Could Make Them a Harder Sell. “At Adam Lee’s Jeep dealership, customers are seeing something they haven’t in years: lots of new cars. But while supply is returning, higher interest rates are hitting demand and sparking concerns that 2023 could be another turbulent year for the car industry.” John Davies Spokane WA 3 SOLD 07/23 "Mouse": 2017 Legacy Elite II Two Beds, Hull Number 218, See my HOW TO threads: Tow Vehicle: 2013 Land Cruiser 200, 32” LT tires, airbags, Safari snorkel, Maggiolina Grand Tour 360 Carbon RTT.
CRM Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Something has to give.. The average American can't afford a 1k per month payment for a pickup truck. 4 2010 Elite II, Hull #45. 2014 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 4WD 5.7 with tow package.
John Dehne Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Sure wish they would get away from who has the most horse power and torque race and more about best quality, rust protection and longevity. The design obsolescence approach drives me crazy. They can keep their trucks I’m good for a while. 5 John & Chris Dehne Manchester, MD. 2021 Elite II twin Hull# 901 “Fiberbeergrass” 2021 Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 Life is good!
Steph and Dud B Posted February 26, 2023 Author Posted February 26, 2023 How about lowering them back to the height they were in the 70s and 80s? You shouldn't need a step ladder to reach into the bed of your truck. Makes no sense. Saw this beauty in a dealership.
