We are in the process of locating qualified and reputable RV maintenance facilities across the country. The goal is to provide our owner's with outstanding service within reasonable distance. If you have had a good experience with a third-party maintenance shop, please let us know here so we can do additional research and add them to our database. Thanks!4 points

Thank you all for the input. We will be posting all types on Maintenance & Care videos along with our How-To video series that will be more on the general features of our travel trailers. We will be posting them as we get them and hope to have most done within the next month or so.2 points

It is with great sorrow that I tell you of the passing of Robert Partee Sr. For those members that did not know Robert, he was the first sales manager for Oliver Travel Trailers. He was personally involved with the production and sale of all the original trailers produced in 2008 and 2009. Although Robert left Oliver a couple of years ago, we remained in communication with each other. Everyone please remember Robert's wife, sons and family in your thoughts and prayers. I will greatly miss you my friend.2 points

Talked with Kelly at OTT about the idea of a store. She thought it might be time and a good idea. At least some stuff in the showroom? She was going to mention to Scott. We will see. Let's see, I'll take a hat, a coffee cup, some blinds, a water accumulator, and do you have that fleece in black?2 points

We are in the process of locating third-party maintenance facilities across the U.S. that are qualified and have good reputations to service Oliver owner's trailers. We are starting with the West Coast since it is such a long haul for them to have service work done back here in TN. If some of you owners have had good experiences with third-party maintenance shops, please let us know. I'll start a new thread for input.1 point

yeah, I was just down there and left Irog! I'm so lonely I could cry. Latest high price for a sale was $75,873.00 with an Ollie all decked out with everything. At least two of those in line are Demos. I know #181 is there made before mine. #265 is there too and I think it's a demo. They are making different front bins now. Should cost less for them too. There is a large one made from sheet aluminum and a smaller one too. They are running five weeks behind on maintenance jobs now. I'm not sure that's a good sign, but I imagine many people want their own mods and many others are having the water modification done now. The sales are skyrocketing upward. Plans are being made for something longer too, I suspect. I think it would be a good idea if Oliver would train some folks for East Coast and West Coast maintenance so Ollies wouldn't have to be pulled 3000 miles just for maintenance. I suppose any good RV trailer person could pull maintenance on an Ollie too though. But going to the factory and seeing how they are made would help any maintenance person.1 point

Thanks for posting the pictures of the finished trailers. The ladybug trailer is mine and my sister's and we will be picking it up on the 12th. Your picture is the first we have seen of the finished product! Makes us that much for excited for Thursday's pick up day.1 point

Merriweather was great both times we were there, and I also think we might of been one of two. Was like having a private free campground. We have "dined" at Fall Hollow a couple of times too, but they are only , or were, only open weekends. Both are within spitting distance to the Trace. We will have to dig out our notes, but one nice state Park is the highest point in Alabama. Don't remember the name, but a National Fire Ranger and our built in Garmin sent us on a 32 mile long paved goat path. Half way up, we found they was also logging. Just by chance we didn't meet any on their way down. That road was only 8' wide. in one place we crossed, actually forded a stream, in the middle of a 1950ish trailer park. If we had heard banjo music we would have picked up the pace. If only we had checked the paper map, there was a 4 lane highway just another mile down the road. But we did see some sights, and it was an adventure we still laugh at..1 point

We went to a big box lumber place (Lowe's maybe?) And bought this piece. It is designed to fit on the top of a rolling Husky tool box. It slides over the sink easily. We left ours snug where it goes over the faucet, this keeps it from "drifting" while we travel. It stayed snug when a drawer didn't. We trimmed the length a little, used a hole saw in the drill, and made two cuts. Simple, works well, adds usable counter space, and hides dirty dishes.1 point

I was thinking there was a quick reference made at one point for care and maintenance, but not 100% if it has been updated according the model/year. I'll double check and have the team put something together. We are working on an entire "how-to" video series that will include everything covered at delivery, plus frequently asked questions. We will try to have these done within the month. We have shot several videos, but have not had time to cut/edit them. We will be adding them to our Youtube channel as we complete them. The team is also working on a new "ticketing" system for service/warranty issues so we can track any issues our customers may have. It will allow owners to submit issues, view the status and allow our management team a better understanding of manpower needs. Our forum here is a great tool to learn from our customers and make our trailers better, but we don't always have a lot of time to read through all the posts. The ticketing system will be just a better way of handling our service/warranty needs of our customer with quicker response times. We hope to get the ticketing system live within the next few weeks. Included in the ticketing system will be a knowledge base of frequently asked questions & answers that we can build upon as "service & support" tickets are completed. Hope everyone has a great weekend!1 point
