  1. For anyone interested in the Atmos 4.4. This is a installation PDF with nice pics of first installation at SDG factory. ATMOS 4.4 Dreiha Atmos 4-4 AC Installation.pdf $1350 shipped, good support through SDG $1150 local pickup Another label, same unit as far as I can tell. TOSOT TST-RV-GC15K-User_manual_230707.pdf 15% off coupon: SMERMM15 $1,212.74 shipped, unsure about support Not sure if the units use same APP for WIFI but is available for both. From what I understand, you will need to wire a thermostat where the old Dometic thermostat is for furnace control. @jd1923 got a quote for this through SDG for about $50. T-stat for controlling furnace. Still waiting to hear about compatibility or need for Micro-Air Easy Touch wifi thermostat (what I am currently using and love). But if the App works great, who cares. If you do use the WIFI thermostat that SDG/Atmos offers it is IR connected and needs direct line of site to unit for it to work. Best, Mike

  2. It's like my sealed transmission in the Tundra just not worth the effort if it goes bad, just replace it with another sealed unit IMO and Toyotas. The refrigerant side of things for a sealed unit is not manufactured to be serviceable. Second, I amended my last statement to state the manufacturing of 410a (not the selling of) units will stop at the end of this year. Phaseout sell-off of inventory is a given. @GJ definitely not trying to school anyone, I just felt like there was a bit of fear mongering with the statements concerning R-32. Although each refrigerant has strong and weak characteristics. I feel like there is a lot more positives to converting than not to which I didn't even get to: 30-40% more efficient, GWP 2/3s less than R410a... bottom line better for the planet without much drawbacks IMO. Cheers mate! On to putting up new MaxxFan shroud/shade with LED light in the cabin.

  4. This is what I pieced together after some reading. According to Daikin, R-32 is the most balanced refrigerant in terms of Environmental Impact/Energy Efficiency/Safety/Cost-Effectiveness for Stationary Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. Estimates 230 million units sold worldwide since 2022. Different from R22 and R410A, the R32 is slightly flammable. But combustion will not occur unless three critical conditions are met, refrigerant concentration, constant oxygen, and an ignition source. In real practice, it's hard to meet all the combustion conditions. R-32 is not self supporting of a flame hence the A2L classification. The A2L subgroup, as categorized by ASHRAE Standard 34, are a class of refrigerants that have lower toxicity and flammability (flame propagation speed is less than 10 cm/s) compared to other classifications — A = non-toxic, 2 = flammable, L = low burning velocity — making it the second-safest refrigerant category. As Oliver owners using units that are self-contained and sealed they should never need a recharge, which also lessens the likelihood of a leak. International Standard ISO 817 defines 2 toxicity classes for refrigerants: Class A – Lower Chronic Toxicity and Class B – Higher Chronic Toxicity. R32 is categorized as Class A. In general speak, Class A refrigerants are called non toxic and Class B are called toxic. All refrigerant are toxic in that they can displace oxygen so ALL refrigerants need extra care. Lastly, they won't be manufacturing any more 410a units after 12/24. 6. As of now, SDG is who I would buy from $1350 shipped. https://www.sdgelkhart.com/dreiha-4-4
  7. I agree you must be careful buying on Amazon but the current Tosot AC on their website is R-32. Probably the best thing to do is buy direct or from official distributors (Atmos 4.4) like the one in Indiana that I believe @Ronbrink is purchasing from. There are other option though if you do your homework and are willing to take the risk to save a little money. But I do believe they are all the same units manufactured by the same company. I think the 410 use is in older manufactured units. Would be my guess. Anyway, hope to see the R-32 version in a Oliver soon! Best, Mike
  8. Not according to the Eco Cool/Gree user manual. ECO-COOL_Users_Manual.pdf Am I reading this wrong?
  9. @Ronbrink From what I understand, they all use R-32 due to Gree being the manufacturer for them all and then they are distributed under different labels depending on market. Which is great since R-410A is going to be retired and R-32 is much more efficient. Thanks for making us aware of an exciting new option. @Shawna and Scott From what I have seen it will work perfectly due to having almost the exact same footprint. Curious to see pics of first install on an Oliver. TST-RV-GC15K-User_manual_230707.pdf PPI-SG-GREE-002.pdf Best, Mike
  10. Looking forward to someone installing the Atmos 4.4 (Gree, Tosot, Eco cool) unit. Looks great from what I read on the Sprinter van thread. Compared to the Dometic PII it has almost the same footprint and weight. 2 1/2 inches longer in the back. No condensate pump or line connection (drains onto the roof) Remote control and WiFi thermostat available. Should make for easy install. Also, app controlled. Quite a bit more efficient on shore power and batteries. Very quiet! $1350 shipped. Not including soft start if needed. (Single or small battery bank). Or cheaper depending on which brand you get off of Amazon, etc. Definitely interested. @Ronbrink and others let us know how the install goes. Best, M Links for unit introduction and installation:

  12. @BigTexas Mine does have an easy start installed but I am not knowledgeable enough to know whether the black small capacitor is related to it or not. I took pics to order the spares like you stated, hope it helped. Most likely a fan motor will be my first purchase. My Dometic Penguin II 13.5K has run continuously for 6 years, summer and winter, heat and air. It has been very dependable so far, albeit loudly. Looking at serviceable parts at this point and then replacement when the time comes.
  13. Soon after I purchased my 2018 E2 there was a collective warranty replacement sent out for the window shades. I guess some let a bit of speckled light through. I got mine and never swapped them out because it did not bother me. I decided today to do the swap. There is a little less light shown through and the color/material seems a little better made. Saying all this to say I have a set of window treatments available to anyone who needs them. Local pickup only due to size. Mounting hardware is available too. OLD BLINDSNEW BLINDS
  14. So the unit is over 6 years old, thought it might be time for some maintenance. 😁 Also, making some high pitched screams (fan motor?) occasionally. and not cooling as well sometimes. Took the shroud off by removing 4 phillips (easy). Found a birds nest from early this spring, I guess, 2 hatchlings didn’t make it. Probably hatched while in FL. The nest and eggs look fairly fresh. Took out the big and small capacitors (5/16 screw that is needlessly hard to reach), both tested WNLs (Big silver one 55/15 +/- 5% micro farads and small black one 43-53 micro farads). Fan shaft had some wiggle to it but pretty tight. Maybe a bearing went bad? Not sure if it was a good idea but sprayed the shaft toward the motor with some CRC power lube. Thought maybe it would help give me some time before replacing fan motor. Got pics of everything for later if I have to order. Cleaned the coils with some mild soap detergent and low pressure water from hose. Let everything dry, cleaned the shroud and put everything back together. No noise and air coming out is definitely colder or I am just enjoying it more after being in the morning sun! Hope it helps someone tackle their maintenance. Really not that hard. Best, Mike
  15. For anyone interested in integrating Seelevel II sensors into the Victron system. The kit includes a tank sensor that you don’t need to use but I couldn’t find the custom made cable elsewhere. Link: https://www.vanlifeoutfitters.com/store/seelevel-709-n2k-pm-tank-monitor-kit-for-cerbo-gx/

  16. Approximately 11 3/4” L and 1 3/4” ID. I used a piece of wood that I spray painted white. No more HDPE laying around. Amazon link: https://a.co/d/bxglZqB Best, M
  17. Used this… works great at well. https://www.hodgesmarine.com/soum5-7a-4342-8-southco-magnetic-door-amp-window-holder-proud.html?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwjqWzBhAqEiwAQmtgT_O4-HN0s5M1liP7fmVfmVecLki9siUfmoB1nRFs7Tt5uhGItsAC_BoCxC4QAvD_BwE
  18. Not sure who to give credit for this but love it. Simple, convenient mod.
  19. I have been using this one for over a year. Used on bikes, motorcycles, lawn mower, Oliver, truck, and cars. It has been wonderful. 4 presets, put a quick chuck on it, hit start and done. Accuracy is better than most, especially on auto tires. Very portable and easy to use. Last a long time with extended time battery. https://a.co/d/fnRidVo https://locknlube.com/collections/air-tools/products/tire-inflator-adapter# https://locknlube.com/products/locknflate-locking-air-chuck If using with the Milwaukee you want OPEN option. $150 at Northerntool.com Quick chuck
  20. The Wildpeaks don't just look tough, they are tough. If anyone has the rare opportunity to plug one I want to hear about their wrists and forearms afterwards. No comparison between my old beloved Michelins and the Falkens. I think I have said this before but I thought I was going to have to get the drill out after battling to get the professional sized T-handle reamer through the tire. Finally, after a good bit of sweat with all 200 lbs of me jumping up and down and around the tire I got it through. I could plug a Michelin LTX A/T without taking it off the truck. Just sayin'. I guess I should clarify that was the Falken Wildpeak A/Ts that I was working on, not the H/Ts. But the same HD badging is on both. Although the Wildpeak A/T 35s on the Tundra have the added Duraspec, which is 3-ply sidewall construction. There is a reason they have a huge following in the overland crowd. Next set on the Tundra will be the R/Ts and I will have tried the whole Wildpeak line. I paid $764 for (4) H/Ts shipped off of eBay.
  21. The Falken Wildpeak line is hard to beat for price and durability. https://www.falkentire.com/wildpeak/ht02 The WILDPEAK H/T02 redefines the Highway Terrain tire, delivering industry-leading performance and durability all year long. Featuring rigid tread blocks and a rugged upper sidewall, the H/T02 is built to meet and exceed the demands of today’s pickup truck drivers, from construction site activities to towing and hauling duties. Advanced 4D Nano Design and 3D Canyon Sipe Technology demonstrate Falken’s commitment to excellence, and provide the H/T02 with enhanced all-season drivability. After rigorous tests using the latest ¾-ton diesel pickups, all LT-size offerings of the WILDPEAK H/T02 earned an “HD” badge on the tire’s sidewall, highlighting the Heavy Duty construction with which these tires were built. For those demanding durability and longevity from their truck tires, the H/T02 is in a class of its own.
  22. Nice. I have some Mopeka's coming tomorrow as well for the propane tanks. They also play nice with the Victron system, excited to have most everything going through the Victron VRM. Always switching between apps to monitor things. Still have a separate app for TPMS, LevelMate Pro, EasyTouch RV thermostat, and my Grilla Grill. Ha! A lot of batteries to change but no more gateways to deal with or use up energy. Do you find the Mopeka propane sensors accurate?
  23. Installed these today game changer. Simple connection to Victron system. Now I can get rid of the gateway for SensorPush in the attic. Seamless integration with VRM for remote monitoring. Have to get a couple more for the MP2 inverter and battery bank bay.
  24. @rich.dev If you go their website and pick flat mount it is under the mount drop down menu. https://www.trioflatmount.com/contact-us M
