What material is this white electrical mounting board?
AndrewK replied to John E Davies's topic in Ollie Modifications
When I installed solar and the battery monitor, I wired all of the negatives to the shunt under the dinette and the positives through the positive bus. I must say it looked very clean! Well, I couldn’t leave well enough alone and ruined it by adding a battery temp sensor. The third wire just messed up the pristine battery box. I almost removed it but I wanted an easier way to monitor the battery temp of my LiFePO4 batteries when it is well below freezing outside. I considered moving the wires to the bottom of the box but was concerned there was a greater chance of them being damaged by getting caught in the battery tray as it slides and decided against it. We have the Viair 300P and it works great for us. We got it for $129.00. I think it is the same compressor as the 400P with less accessories. Andrew

What material is this white electrical mounting board?

John, Our local plastics shop calls it PVC foam board. Jason told me to use marine two part epoxy. I cut the removed the Prodex and sanded the fiberglass for better adhesion. I used The PVC foam board to mount our Victron shunt and solar controller. Worked well for the purpose. Andrew -
Overland, There is an outlet in the same place yours is but there is no hole cut through from the microwave cabinet to the upper cabinet. As you have said, I am sure it could easily be done. Andrew

Susan, There is no outlet in the cabinet. Andrew

Sherry, The door, frame, hinges and lock is the same. Andrew

Sherry, We ordered the Ollie w/o a microwave and it came with a white gel coated fiberglass liner, like the liners in the upper and pantry cabinets and a black rubber mat. It is 20"W x 15"H x 14"D. Here are some additional pictures. Andrew

Overland, It does have a light. It is the same as the interior overhead cabinet lights and it is on the kitchen light switch. The light is blueish not a warm white like the under cabinet lights. Thinking about changing it out so the color tone matches. Andrew

On our 2019, the Microwave cabinet is white gelcoat with a light and a frosted door that folds down like all of the others.

Susan, We specifically ordered our Ollie without the table mounts in the back, knowing we would not use the table. Darrin, can you answer Susan's question about your Lagun mounted table. Andrew

Bill, I put the blue tape on the filler piece, that came with our standard floor plan, to keep from damaging it when I cut it on the table saw. If you want or have a Lagun table, I wouldn’t use the filler and set it up like Darren did. We don’t have the table and I needed the extra length for the center piece, to spread out at the head of the bed as, I am 6’5” and a back sleeper. I need the extra room for my shoulders. Most would not. If you would like to discuss further PM me or I am sure Darren would be happy to talk with you as well. Andrew

If you really need to know the pressure, Bill is right on with contacting Jason. I think the easiest way to know is, if the stove comes with a regulator, it will not work out of the box. You will need to remove the regulator and create a quick connect adaptor. Andrew

Randy, It sounds like one or both batteries were damaged when the were completely drained. To confirm, take your batteries to an auto parts store or somewhere else where they sell batteries, and have them load tested. That is they only way to know for sure. We switched to LiFePO4 batteries from Battle Born to never have this worry again. Also, we never run our refrigerator on DC as it is a very high draw and solar can't keep up. We tow with the propane on, as do many others. Good luck and let us know what you find out. Andrew

Have you tired removing the porthole cover in the cabinet next to the radio? That should give you enough access to check all of the connections without removing the radio. Andrew

Mike, I added solar panels, a solar controller, battery monitor, converter charger and LiFPO4 batteries on our 2019 Elite II. I have also helped a number of other Oliver owners do the same. I would be more than happy to answer any questions, provide you with some written directions and aid you in anyway I can. Chuck, mentioned above, Is one of the owners I helped out. I think there are some pictures of my install on his thread. PM me your contact information if you are interested. Andrew

John, I spoke to Jason when I had this happen and he said it is very common. His suggestion was to drive the trailer over a bump, like a speed bump and it will correct itself. That is how they do it at Oliver service. I didn't want to hook up the trailer so, I lowered the front of trailer and raised the back, until the front shackles flipped. I then lowered each rear side with a piece of wood and a jack under the center rear shackles. As I lowered the rear jacks, the shackles righted themselves. It took a couple of tries as one would flip but the other wouldn't. Andrew

Darren, I did this myself, using twin bed rails and rivets purchased from Oliver and a filler piece made form the factory filler, used to make the king bed. I included a few more pictures that include; the rails installed, the bracket and filler piece (covered in blue painters tape). If you would like to do the same, I would be more than happy to walk you through it. Please PM me with your contact information. Andrew

We did not get the power awning and regret it. The awning comes out very easy but it takes some effort and is very slow to retract. I always think twice before putting it out, as I know I will have to retract it. Keep in mind, neither the manual nor the powered awning have support arms on new Olivers. We did get the Truma and love it! Heats up super fast (in a few minutes) and is a breeze to drain. Andrew

Quick question for newbie regarding pump
AndrewK replied to Jeff Pannell's topic in General Discussion
If you are hooked up to city water, it will provide the pressure you need. The pump is used when you are not hooked up to city water and you are drawing water out of your freshwater tank. -
Door Window Replacement - Need Window Treatment Idea
AndrewK replied to AndrewK's topic in Ollie Modifications
Mainiac, Window keys are plastic wedges that are used to separate the 16 clips that hold the inner frame to the outer frame, securing the window to the door. They slip into slots on the outer edge of the inner frame. Andrew -

Mike, the shade Mossey linked to is an accordion shade, which I think is different than the Zarcor vertical shade you have? We would be interested in the accordion style. Andrew -
Here are a few. At this point, the ball had about 5,000 miles on it. I checked with Andersen said it was normal. Andrew

Mossey, I have looked at that and thought it was a good option but I couldn't find it in white. We want to maintain the full view out the window when open. Andrew -
Door Window Replacement - Need Window Treatment Idea

I was hoping someone has come up with a solution like Lance is using. They have attached a roller shade to the inside of the screen door. I contacted Lance about purchasing the parts from them but the two sizes they use are wider than the screen door on the Oliver.
