  1. This is a nicely laid out trailer. I also noticed the Battleborn battery choice. Things I like: Nautilus water management. Kitchen layout Additional windows (although front windows might be susceptible to rock breakage?) Independent suspension option Dislikes No pantry manual leveling jacks They are also planning a 29 foot model. Intriguing.
  2. We are also Michiganders (trolls 😁). We opted not to get the second awning and do not regret the decision at all. We have spent a lot of time in sounthwest US and find the trailer stays cool up even in 80+ temps. In fact we don't use the primary awning that much when wind is high due to damage concerns. I know some owners have developed anchoring options to help with this.
  3. Snackchaser was spot on. I got up this morning and found the emergency breakaway switch had gotten pulled out during setup. I put it back in and voila, back to 0 draw. Thanks you all so much for the responses. I was really stressing out about this issue.
  4. JD we have Truma on demand hot water. Turned off. No change. Inverter I only turned off for a short time. Can try shutting off for longer period tomorrow. No custom fridge cooling fans. I do think Norcold fan has gotten louder. I turned off fridge and still see draw. No special DC accessories. i will try jack fuses in AM.
  5. We have Elite II Pro package with 3 Lithionics batteries. Currently boondocking near Capital Reef Utah. I checked batteries mid-morning with good sun and saw 2-3 amp draw on each battery. I came back after a good day of sun to same draw and batteries down 15% in a day with no usage. Inverter off. Norcold refrigerator on propane. Here’s what I’ve done Restarted inverter Reset inverter breaker (red switch streetside bed) Power cycled batteries Reset all AC breakers while watching amp load - nothing changed pulled each DC fuse one at a time - no change checked all wire connections in dinette by pantry. No loose wires Batteries are taking charge from generator but show same loss as soon as generator turned off. Any ideas where to check next? Thanks in advance Oliver crew!
  6. We do have 15-30 amp dog one. I will ask them in morning and if it’s an issue we can unpack pretty quickly
  7. We are in Grand Junction at James Rob State Park. Appointment with Alcan in AM. This is the start of a 6 week trip and we have a refrigerator and freezer full of food. Wonder if it’s reasonable to ask to plug in during service. We have large cooler and can unpack.
  8. What a lovely and creative way to document your travels. Thanks for sharing. I am grinning ear to ear after watching and can't wait to hit the road again.
  9. I have had same experience as Roger. The balancing process in battery charging works better after drawing them down to below 50%. I still see differences in SOC but less after draw down.
  10. We plan to do this upgrade with Alcan in early 2026 when we head southwest from Michigan. I know a small percentage of those upgrading have gone with the 4 leaf option. I am on the fence and appreciate hearing real-world experience with the 5 leaf option.
  11. #1047 Saunter - to amble or stroll. Like so many Oliver owners we like to discover whatever is in front of us, wherever that may be. We have found that happens best at a patient pace.
  12. We carry 5-gallon refillable plastic water bottles with a pump. We have found the refilling stations are easy to find and reasonably priced. We had an incident at a state park where drinking water was treated with potassium permanganate. Rangers had added wrong amount, and we had some gastrointestinal distress after drinking.🤮
  13. For those of those of us choosing to monitor the springs until they can be upgraded, inspection guidance from Oliver would be very helpful, particularly the sag seen prior to failure.
  14. We drove portions of the 101 in Oregon in April. Stunning area. We camped at Beverly Beach State Park. A nice campground with lots of shade. This campground has direct access to the beach and dogs are allowed to play off leash. Depoe Bay has a whale watching center. Fresh seafood in Newport and Yaquina Lighthouse is cool to see. There were some stretches that had erosion issues on the 101. We found they were well marked but you'll want to slow down considerably for these. Enjoy. Beautiful country.
  15. I changed tow vehicles in March and had Anderson installed at factory during annual maintenance. We are on the tail end of 7000 plus miles. After installation my thread count was the same on both sides. I noticed recently one chain had some sag to it. I looked at frame mounts and measured from rear cross joins and the brackets differ by about an inch. Maybe shifted during towing? I will adjust. What torque should the bracket bolts be? In the meantime, as long as tension in both chains is similar and taut, hitch will still perform desired function?
  16. I have not experience this but others have noted the jack stabilizer mounts may come lose possibly causing an upward shift of the jack and the unwanted contact?
  17. They replaced my burner during annual maintenance visit in early March. I had scheduled this service in early February, and they set aside a burner for me. Hoping things are ok in Hohenwald.
  18. We are currently camping at Mt Madonna County Park near Santa Cruz. Our plans to visit Yosemite were derailed by snow at elevation. We visited Santa Cruz today and will go to Monterey on this stop. Some lovely hikes in park too. From here we will venture to Marin County north of San Francisco for a couple of days to visit my brother-in-law who is a golf course architect and has a job there. Thinking of taking the 101 north from there to Redwoods and into Oregon. Any thoughts on pulling Ollie up that route? Redwoods camping is booked so we would welcome any other ideas.

  19. @jd1923 We are in Alamogordo and planning to head to Cottonwood via 260. I plan to call Ranger Station but was curious if you think this camping will be accessible?
  20. Catalina is a beautiful park for sure. Those Oro Valley sunsets from the park are amazing. We stayed there in March 2023 and 2024. In 2023, we arrived just after the entry road reopened from a flooding event. In 2024, we were in the park and had park host informed us the road had flooded and we had to stay another two night or two. Darn šŸ¤ž
  21. Can confirm. Spoke with Jason today regarding service on March 11-12. He has a burner set aside for me.
  22. Steens Moutain sounds amazing. I am guessing inaccessible in mid-April when we plan to visit? What other must-sees will be unavailable at that time?
  23. Wondering if any other owners are considering the new Dodge Ramcharger option for towing their Olivers? On paper sounds pretty good with towing capacity up to 14,000 pounds and 2600 lb cargo capacity. Range is over 100 miles on electric only almost 700 miles using gas, although surely less for both towing. 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger Hybrid: What We Know So Far
  24. I scheduled my annual maintenance with Oliver factory in early March. My Truma serial number falls within recall range so I mentioned this to Jason when scheduling. He said Oliver will replace my Truma burner unit during maintenance visit. He did say they currently do not have any Truma burner assemblies in stock and don't expect any until early March.
