  1. Johnny and Juanita, Congrats on retirement and your Ollie!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to seeing your Ollie photos!
  2. Found this Dexter EZ Flex installation instructions: https://www.dexteraxle.com/user_area/content_media/raw/059-A45-00E-ZFlexInstructionSheet.pdf
  3. Used through bolts, lock nuts, and backing plate when installing the Furrion 10A solar port. Later modified the 10A Furrion Port to install a 20A Zamp port in the existing Furrion port, working great, too.
  4. Absolutely beautiful reflection in the 3rd shot!!!!!!!!
  5. Both shock's rods are 3/8" and Monroe barrel 1.64" OD & Bulldog barrel 1.66" OD, probably pistons are close to the same diameter depending on barrel wall thicknesses in each. The Monroe shock weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces and the Bulldog shock weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces. Have not seen any oil leaks with the Monroe shocks.
  6. We used to spend an extra $5 per cylinder for better quality seals during cylinder manufacture to greatly increase the life of industrial hydraulic cylinders.
  7. When we have condensation between the hulls, have seen more condensation between the hulls at the rear Oliver sign. Have not seen much condensation between the hulls in the area where you see water dripping out.
  8. Galway Girl , hope you don't mind my posting photos of the Bulldog and original Monroe shocks for a physical comparison, we were curious if they were different builds. Here's the original Monroe shock next to the new Bulldog shock. The rod cover is longer on the Bulldog and rod end of cylinder is built differently, they are different builds.
  9. Going to install the Bulldogs in the morning, will post some photos.
  10. Discount Tire replaced our Ollie's LT 16" tires with Cooper LT over two years ago without issues, but John Davies said Discount Tire would not replace his Ollie's tires less than two years ago, assume it was LT tires. Here's a 10/22 thread about Oliver changing to 15" Goodyear ST Tires.
  11. John Going to install Bulldog shocks on Ollie next week. Will do on the side by side comparison photo, both shocks are built in China, Monroe and Bulldog shocks. https://www.4statetrucks.com/bulldog-hd-shock-absorber-replaces-555001-19-050000007 Bill
  12. Between getting a new computer about the same time you started using a new host, this forum is lightning fast! Thanks!
  13. John, Starting 2017 Atwood is sold under the Dometic brand. https://www.dometic.com/en-us/outdoor/lp/rebranded-atwood Bill
  14. Here's a YouTube video about cleaning a Dometic/Atwood sail switch:
  15. Here's a parts breakdown link for Dometic/Atwood furnaces: https://pantherrvproducts.com/dometic-afsd20-atwood-rv-propane-heater-furnace-18k-parts-breakdown/
  16. Here's John Davie's thread about how to service a Suburban furnace:
  17. We like Homolvi SP AZ, too. Nice area! Sunset at Homolivi without photoshop: We visited during a car show:
  18. Rodney, We appreciate Oliver’s consideration and decision to keep service available in Tennessee. Best Regards, Bill
  19. Beautiful scenery today!!!!!!!!!!!! Good tips! Thanks for posting this great trip!
  20. Chris, Nice Video!
  21. We use Auto Owners insurance and have increased Ollie's insured value three times, so far. Started out at what we paid for Ollie used in 2016, then with upgrades and continued increasing value, adjust insured value when needed. Never dreamed needing to increase our camper's value when we purchased Ollie. 🙂
  22. I used a 5% discount code yesterday, you did much better on the discount! 4StateTrucks.com has an A+ BBB rating, too. Picked up a spare 5 leaf spring and Ubolts/nuts for less than $100 today (original 5200lb axles on our Ollie) from the local Dexter distributor since there has not been any reported Ollie failures on these springs, yet. Going to install bronze bushings in it left over from the EZ Flex installation a few years ago.
  23. Vector, If you have chosen a lithium battery manufacturer, they may be able to tell you about an installer in your area that's buying and installing their products. We have a BattleBorn lithium battery in Ollie, and they have always been very helpful with my questions. Bill
  24. I was going to place an order for Monroe 555001 shocks about this time last year, but failed to do so. Just placed an order for a set of Bulldog shocks you referenced in your post. The Bulldog set cost about $150 delivered with tax. Going to buy & keep one spare 5 leaf spring (matching originals) for 5200lb axles, too. Thanks for the info!
