We use Auto Owners insurance and have increased Ollie's insured value three times, so far. Started out at what we paid for Ollie used in 2016, then with upgrades and continued increasing value, adjust insured value when needed. Never dreamed needing to increase our camper's value when we purchased Ollie. 🙂

I used a 5% discount code yesterday, you did much better on the discount! 4StateTrucks.com has an A+ BBB rating, too. Picked up a spare 5 leaf spring and Ubolts/nuts for less than $100 today (original 5200lb axles on our Ollie) from the local Dexter distributor since there has not been any reported Ollie failures on these springs, yet. Going to install bronze bushings in it left over from the EZ Flex installation a few years ago. -
RV Mechanics for Lithium Conversion in/around St. Louis?
rideandfly replied to Vector - Lanham's topic in General Discussion
Vector, If you have chosen a lithium battery manufacturer, they may be able to tell you about an installer in your area that's buying and installing their products. We have a BattleBorn lithium battery in Ollie, and they have always been very helpful with my questions. Bill- 1 reply

I was going to place an order for Monroe 555001 shocks about this time last year, but failed to do so. Just placed an order for a set of Bulldog shocks you referenced in your post. The Bulldog set cost about $150 delivered with tax. Going to buy & keep one spare 5 leaf spring (matching originals) for 5200lb axles, too. Thanks for the info! -

Airstream Anguish… Is it contagious?
rideandfly replied to Wandering Sagebrush's topic in General Discussion
We purchased our LE2 Ollie used eight years ago with no regrets. We used to let Oliver do some of the maintenance since they were only a day trip from home, plus we enjoy camping in TN, too. We plan to do most of the maintenance on Ollie in the future except for fiberglass and welding repairs. We had aluminum welding done by a local race car shop recently and with a large lake close by, there are plenty of quality boat maintenance facilities for fiberglass repairs. This forum is a valuable resource for repair and upgrade information, too. Many valuable post have been made here that are needed for current and future Ollie owners making DIY repairs or learning more about one of the best campers ever built! -
Looks really tasty!!!!!!!!!!! 😋

Agree, tow vehicle and trailer GVWR should never be exceeded. -

We camped at Snow Canyon SP at St. George UT and Valley of Fire SP NV in September a few years ago. It was hot at both State Parks and had a wild rain/thunder/wind storm one night at Valley of Fire, but we did have shore power at both locations. Beautiful areas, hope the weather cooperates for the remainder of the trip! -

Nice Photos! Appreciate mixing sports with camping trips! Where we play golf they have very nice tennis & pickle ball courts, too. We try to take golf clubs on camping trips, too. Looks like a fine trip y'all are having! -
This is what I like about forums, inspected our chock leveling system and the components are showing a lot of wear. Decided to replace them with Rophor leveling system, like the looks of this system! Just ordered a set today. Our chocks have use expiration dates, too, already replaced them once, going to replace them next with the HF chocks from the local store later this week! Appreciate the information!

Comparison of Anderson and Beech Lane Leveling systems: The majority of our camping is in Federal and State Parks. We use the Camco leveling chock system, should not have said blocks earlier, for raising the Ollie's low side with rubber mats underneath to prevent slipping, Then chock the high side. When we purchased the leveling system, read reviews about slippage on hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt, so started using rubber mats underneath. The Camco Leveling Chock system we use, photo taken several years ago when we still had BF Goodrich LT tires mounted on Ollie:

Yep, 100 kilometers per hour 😁 -
We camp on many campsites that are not level. Always put the level blocks under wheels on low side leveling Ollie (we use Camco Level Blocks) and chock the wheels on the opposite side. Then before jacking Ollie's hitch off of the ball, place the tow vehicle in neutral letting the trailer settle on the level blocks and chocks, next place TV in park and jack hitch off of ball without much movement.
