Definitely a unique classic! We previously owned a AS Nest, Airstreams other short lived fiberglass camper. They only made 466 of them.

@Foy_Mirna Well done!! We are seriously considering this but would like one half the length to put in front of nightstand so as not to block the entire aisle so we can still easily get to the overhead cabinets while standing in the aisle as well as being able to get out of the beds easier. If we had one half the length just to have enough “bridge” for our dog to sleep and walk across it would still leave some aisle for getting into cabinets and getting out of bed. Is this something you could do?

Agree! I was so confused when we started considering buying a truck and camper a few years ago. We knew absolutely nothing about payload, cargo carrying capacity, tongue weight and what it all meant. We had never camped in our life! Overwhelming at first but I did know it was important to learn, I studied and researched diligently for months, until it became clear. It is not something to enter into blindly. I think these videos are so helpful for both new and a good refresher for pros.

You definitely don’t want to be caught driving in an ice storm, no fun!

It really has been mild but this storm packed a punch!

We’ve actually had a very mild winter. Although it’s not unusual in Mi to get late Winter early Spring storms. These ice storms reek a lot of havoc. DTE is estimated power outages until Sunday.

We are going up to 40 today!! Crazy weather.

No camping today! Michigan ice storm was a doozy last night! Lost power several times but we are grateful ours has now stayed on. Literally thousands without power.🥶

There are a several videos on YouTube I suggest you watch to see exactly what a brake controller does and how to use it. It’s a very important thing to know how to use and to have when towing.

Hello, Yes you do need a break controller. In most states it’s required when towing a trailer that weighs more than 3,000 lbs.
