@Mainiac Ha! I had the same thought, written by a lawyer! I personally don’t want another credit card especially one with a yearly fee. I think they should have a reward program that doesn’t require having their credit cards or an annual fee. Also I wonder how will they choose fairly who to ask to show their camper if there are a few in the same area? Rotation? It seems if I’m reading it right at this time the only way to earn rewards is showing your camper and getting a sale. So why does it have to be a credit card? I didn’t see where you get points for dollars spent like most credit card reward points have. Perhaps that’s coming later?🤷🏻‍♀️

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the new reward program?

We just use the cord that came with the camper. We did the same with our other camper and never have had any issues with it being out in the elements all winter.

Since we have a Nature Head compost toilet we only dump grey, we have a 28 (which is way too big) and a 15 gallon tote which we love. We haven’t found a good place to put it so it just goes in the back bed of the truck. There are some great suggestions in this feed, thanks for sharing them.

Hopefully before camping season starts (those of us that winterize) we can get some branded apparel. Would love some tees, sweatshirt, hoodies and hats.

Not surprised at this. Rules are rules so if hosts are turning a blind eye to their city/county rules they shouldn’t be surprised when they get a citation for being in violation of those rules. HH have become so popular, they are getting more and more RV traffic and some have over 10 sites making it more noticeable (and more like a campground) to neighbors then in prior years when it first started. Of course it’s a business if it’s generating income so the city wants its cut ie transient occupancy taxes from the hosts. Reminds me of Homeowner Associations, I’ve seen so many people angry because they can’t park their RV in their yard according to Association rules, but they fail to remember when they bought their home they agreed to and got a copy of the association rules!

No surprise here, we knew it would be another approx $5000 “taxed” onto our purchase price. It bites but what are you going to do?🤷🏻‍♀️😏

You can also take the leaves and silk off, wet a paper towel and roll the corn cob in it, microwave for 3 minutes. Comes out perfect!! We often use this method when we camp and want a few quick ears of corn.

This may sound funny on new batteries but check the batteries, my brother got new batteries for his motorhome and none of them were good! They did replace them then everything worked great.

It’s the only time I want to hit the fast forward button and just skip Winter!

WoW!! I guess that was one way not to worry about towing capacity! That was a long way up and down that ladder! The new owner did a great job bringing it back down closer to earth!😂
