rideadeuce
This was put in to use our last trip and we loved it, especially the kids. No more picking up heavy 3 gallon containers for drinking water. Faucet magnetically attaches to base and can be turned or moved. Easy 1, 2 tap On/Off. Easy to clean and store easier than other water containers we have used. As much as I would like to just use on board storage H20 it never seems to taste great despite keeping it clean and tank treated. We added a 10 ft tube to make it easier to place where we want it. It came with a very short one. You can just use the connector from it for the new, longer tubing. dewdev
@rideadeuce FYI, Your link is only for the 1/4" tubing I found the Dometic water faucet on Amazon but not the 3 gallon container you show. Can you provide a link for the container? Did the containers already have a connection for the 1/4" tubing? Moderators mossemi Posted March 16 Moderators Share Posted March 16 It is funny you posted about this water pump, we were in REI yesterday and I saw it on display. It caught my attention because the below picture is what we use at home. I find that these bottles of water are readily available while traveling. MAX Burner
We've been using the "Travel Berkey" for over 10 years or so now... Fits nicely under the flatscreen and travels in its custom bag under the forward dinette seat: We can easily re-fill our drinking cups when thirsty at night without getting out of the rack.... Works for us at least. 2 1 Art, Diane, Magnus & Oscar (double-Aaarrf!) 2022 TUNDRA w/Airlift Load Lifter 5000 kit 2017 LE II; Hull #226 "Casablanca", 3x Battle Borns; Victron Cerbo S GX, Other Victron Stuff: SmartShunt, MPPT Solar Controller, DC-DC Charger, 12VDC Starlink kit, and Alcan 5-pack Leaf Springs HAM call-sign: W0ABX
Geronimo John
In Feburary I was in Columbia flying paragliders. At our hotel they had one of these setups on the counter for about 20 guests to use. Daily we each used about 1.5 liters. Frankly I could not believe the amount of water it put out every day. This little pump works like a charm.
