I suspect the “numbers” will increase somewhat as the compressor will work harder to reach and maintain temp in ambient conditions. However, likely less than what is typically seen with conventional units.

I think the highest watts draw the engineer in the Youtube video was able to see at max power was around 1100. Still far less than any of the single speed compressor units of comparable size. In our small insulated spaces I'm guessing we would be consuming around 500-700 most of the time once setpoint is met.

I read a review today, after reading several I forgot where. The reviewer stated one con was that the internal fan speed was constant, not variable speed.

This comment upset me if true. I woulda thunk variable speed compressor and external fan should have a variable speed interior fan, allowing the interior fan to match the cooling needs as the inverter compressor does. This may be why it is not as quiet as could be and he denoted it as an area of improvement. Anybody here know more?

Owners manual says it has low, med, hi, and auto.

Do any of the RV AC Systems have a variable speed fan for pushing the climatized Air? I had a few mini splits in homes and I never saw one that had a variable fan for the climatized air. All were 3 speeds L, M, H and Auto. None shut off after the cycle completed.

This is what makes the Cielo Breeze Max T Stat so good it shuts the fan off after the cycle completes if you want that to happen.

Having the fan turn off as the compressor cycles off definitely prevents the dreaded humidity spike that many experience!

I had the Ollie out in 95 Degree Central Florida Sunshine today and the Pioneer dropped the temperature to 78 and cycled fine. It was drawing around 685 watts. It is also very quiet. I was running off my inverter and the batteries.

My Dometic Penguin 2 will see your bet of 685 watts and easily raise you another 1100 watts! And it must also be at least 10 dB LOUDER too!

Maybe I should take advantage of the Turbro sale. It's a tough call. Just spent over $3K on D52 axles and Alcan springs that I hear shipped today. That's going to be a bunch of hours installation and a A/C unit would have to sit in the box for awhile!  🤣
