Hi Folks,

Just got a new to us 2022 LE II.  I noticed our cooktop ignitor isn't working.  I get 12 volts to and from the pushbutton switch, but nothing coming out of the ignitor block that's mounted to the pan below the unit.  The yellow power wire wasn't attached so I attached it.  I tightened all the blade connectors and reattached them.  Both burners light fine with a match, but not with the pushbutton.

I've searched the forums and looked for the replacement part online, but the only sites that have it seem to be scam sites.  The numbers on the block are DST2020-5442, 6AF042302.  There also seems to be a part number 99009 that looks like it might be the same. Any help in locating the part or providing another solution would be greatly appreciated!

FYI, the ignitor is polarity sensitive and can be damaged if the 12v power wires are connected wrong.  The part number for a new one is 50804 and they are around $40.  Check with one of the on-line RV parts stores, and don't trust them if they don't have a contact phone.  Or you can try calling Dometic directly.  I once had trouble identifying a part for that stove, and Dometic was also unsure of the part number.  They ended up sending a box of various parts for free!

I think I called them using one of these numbers:

Perhaps this is a dumb comment - but

I assume that you both cleaned the areas that the "spark" is likely to travel and that the distance between the burner and the electrode that gives off the spark is close - certainly within a 1/4 inch?

Thanks, Snackchaser for the part numbers! I haven't altered the polarity and it appears to match the schematic on the bottom of the unit.  And TopGun2, it looks like the unit has only been used a few times, so it's all clean and the gap is good. Thank you both for the quick responses!

The ignitor not working is a useful feature of the Oliver....    It explains why you always need to keep a lighter in the kitchen drawer.   If anyone has an explanation of why a cigar cutter needs to be in that drawer too... I would appreciate your passing the information along.
