"Best" low profile AC replacemet

Morning,

I know a lot (too much) has already been written on replacing the very very loud AC systems but I have just one simple(?) question. This relates to my very limited "extra" ceiling height room above  my Oliver in my storage building.

What are the two "best" low (no higher than existing Oliver installed) profile quiet AC to replace the current beast on my 2022 Oliver? Why?

(FYI: From Wisconsin and we don't use AC here. However, just returned from the 100 degree SW and rethinking the topic.)

I had heard a rumor that OTT is using/considering the Houghton 3400 on new builds. Can this be confirmed? If so:

• Does it have the fan on contineously issue resolved so that it can be set to turn off the fan with the compressor?
• Does it have  remote thermistor?
• Does it condensate drain by tube option for those with no height concerns?

Please advise.

I read they resorted to the Dometic FreshJet, but not certain of the series model. That said however, in viewing the recently released ‘2027 Oliver Legacy Elite ll Platinum Model Walkthrough’ video, a Dometic is perched atop! AI states the Dometic FreshJet sits slightly lower on the roof than the Penguin ll. Dometic FrestJet (Series 5): Measures exactly 10.5 inches in height. Dometic Penguin ll: Measures 11.25 inches in height. When AI is asked is the FreshJet is quieter than the Penguin ll: Yes, the Dometic FreshJet is significantly quieter than the Penguin ll. I’m only presenting facts, not a personal recommendation.

I had just asked last week about what they are upgrading older units to now days at the factory, Dometic Freshjet was the reply.  Price was $4600.00 for upgrade.

The new Apex X23 model comes with a Houghton 48 volt AC / heat pump..

Wow, just a $3,000 upcharge for a few hours labor! 🤣

Sorry @Gliddenwoods I can't help much since we would NOT ever again be without our HIGH-PROFILE Furrion Chill Cube! Its height in condenser and evaporator coils is one thing that makes it so efficient.

At 3.25" taller than the Dometic P2 our Oliver measures 9' 8 1/2" tall at the top of our new Chill Cube A/C. It should fit under a 10 ft garage door. You should measure for yourself the true heights of your Oliver on top of the A/C and your garage door opening. I do not believe the advertised height of the Oliver E2 is accurate.

I hate to see anybody go with a Dometic A/C product. OTT doesn't exactly have a proven track record in picking winners in this category!
