Moderators mountainborn Posted January 5, 2009 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2009 Several forums members have taken or been given photos that were taken by other forums members that have visited the factory in Hohenwald. Let's see if we can gather them up here on this single thread so that anyone that has an intrest in the 22, can get a better look at it before it is officially unveiled at the Quartzite Rally in the near future. So, how about it, lets see your 22' pix ! Remember, just click on a photo to enlarge it ! Moderators SeaDawg Posted January 6, 2009 Moderators Share Posted January 6, 2009 Hi! I posted some similar a few weeks ago (though larger)photos on another thread (21 footer on the way... though now its a 22). Robert sent me those when I called and asked.... I could see the "bones" of the interior, but it wasn't finished yet. Anyone have photos of the finished trailer? I'm very curious to see them. herm
I can't believe I'm already looking at completed photos...amazing! And I love those high-mounted running light! Is that a DOT requirement for trailers over a certain length? I remember my old 24' Innsbruck trailer has those too, except in a different configuration. northwoods
Jim, Pam and Dave will be leaving the Factory Wednesday afternoon, God willing, with the 22 foot Oliver and the Sports model. I am currently in Lake Havasu, but, they have told me that both trailers turned out to be spectacular!! Everyone at the Factory is VERY excited about the two new additions and should be exceptionally proud of the work they have done to complete both trailers so quickly and in time for the Quartzsite showing!! If anyone is interested in seeing the trailers, they will be traveling on the 40 West. They already have a stop in Oklahoma City, and are willing to show the trailers . Pam and Dave have new cell phone #'s. Pam's new number is 931-808-7486. Dave's number is 931-808-3400. We plan on being at the same location as last year in Quartzsite, and hope to be there this weekend. See you there!! Northwoods

herm
Chris and others, you should take a look at the brochures and spec sheet links on the Oliver website's home page. They've got info on all the models, including the 22. Those are the only photos I've seen so far, completed that is. Herm

desmo_pilot
I checked out the new Elite 2 in Quartzsite last week when I was picking up my new Ollie(#40). The 22' is definitely a beautiful trailer. For the person/couple looking for more sleeping room and a slightly larger kitchen, this should be the hot ticket. I really liked the extra storage space, both inside and outside. The outside accessible storage area is a great addition. It has enough space to store your grill, firewood, hoses, etc. Something else I really liked is the wheel well fixtures that they have added. This looks really nice and gives a much more finished/refined look to the exterior. I'm going to talk to Robert to see if they can make this for the single wheel well so that I can add them to mine. I had my camera along, but I think I was too excited to be picking up my own trailer that I completely forgot about taking pictures. I would have done the 22' if was in a config that could sleep four. My wife and I have an eight month old baby and hope to have another in the next couple of years. For us, we'll either need to construct a bunk bed or hopefully by then Oliver will have some additional floor plans and we can just trade up.
