  2. While the outlet itself may not be GFCI, it almost certainly is on a circuit that is GCFI controlled (i.e. is a slave off a GCFI). I'd suggest that you keep checking for another "tripped" GCFI. Bill
  3. Ok, I started my generator and now my True Induction Stove Top works. Am I missing something?
  4. Generally speaking -- posts like this amaze me. We have a great base of knowledge and know-how here on the forum. Thank you to @Snackchaser and all of our great forum members present and past.
  5. Snack Chaser, thanks for the response. I found the buttons on the USB outlets. Didn’t know they were there and they all work. Good to know. All of the outlets that I can find work. There is one GFCI that I found near the floor in the forward dinette that was tripped. But after resetting it the induction stove still is not working. The one outlet outside is not GFCI. I’m going to hook into shore power again to see if by doing that the stove will turn on. I have both a generator and a 30 amp connector nearby for this morning yet. Lamar
  6. I remember. Our little community is festooned with flags lining the streets. Let us never forget.
  7. I see where many have viewed this thread and thus, wondering if anyone else, other than a few others, have tried using a Cielo with their unit and what the results were. It would be good to know of any success with other unit brands, especially Truma, Houghton and Dometic; or even the newer inverter style units.
  8. The Boerne Community Concert Band performed a concert in the town square yesterday evening. All patriotic songs, marches and songs of each branch of service. Also a nice rendition of Taps for our fallen heroes. It was a good turnout, lots of camping chairs and good weather. Small town USA. Happy Memorial Day! Mike
  9. A day to remember and a day to not forget.
  10. I use one of these to make quick work of finding wires- Tone generator and wand.
  11. Lamar, sad to hear of your troubles! I have no idea how those stoves are wired, but they should be GFIC protected (Ground fault interrupter circuit). Those can trip for numbers of reasons. It could have its own GFIC receptacle under the cabinet somewhere, or it could be fed from an another GFIC receptacle. I'd check all the AC receptacles to see if they are GFIC and if they are tripped. Don't forget the one above the kitchen counter and the outdoor plug. If you find one tripped that won't reset, let us know for further investigation. Also check the AC wiring diagram in your manual, it should show whether the stove circuit is GFIC protected, and give clues where to look. The stove wouldn't be related to the 12v outlets. If you're talking about the USB outlets, they might have a tiny pushbutton switch on the front of them. The cigarette lighter type of 12v outlets are notorious for having the wire terminal pop off the back, but unlikely for that to happen to both of them. If the fuse is okay, then I'd take a close look at whatever you're testing them with. Good luck and let us know what you find. Geoff
  12. We took possession of our new 2026 Legacy I in about April. Spent most of the time learning the systems and getting ready for our trip to Utah where we plan to do mostly Boondocking. We did one trial run overnight close to home to get the feel for things but we were tied into shore power. We were planning on a second unhooked but storms rolled and we had to leave. Tonight is night one on the 2 week long trip and we are boondocking. The True Induction Stove top will not turn on. It did turn on when we were hooked to shore power when we did the trial run. I am using a lodge frying pan, making sure we have the right material on the stove top. But there are no lights coming on the cooktop. I checked the breaker and it appears ok (knowing they can go bad and you can’t tell until you replace them). The inverter seems to be working as the microwave/convection oven works. The batteries appear to be above 90%. It’s gonna be a long 2 weeks without a stovetop. I don’t know if this is related but two 12 v receptacles on the street side do not appear to be working either. I’ve checked fuses but they seem to be fine. Any insight would be appreciated. I’ll also put a ticket in, but I’m sure Oliver is closed until at least Tuesday because of Memorial Day. Lamar Hull #1687 Also, for Veterans, their families, and those who lost someone they cared for in the military…I trust this Memorial Day, Remembrance Day, or Decoration Day will be meaningful to you.
  13. Good idea! You could, but isolate it from the TV so you don't end up with a back-feed condition. Just use a DPDT switch wired to break the TV circuit while energizing the back-up lights from the trailer battery, and vice-versa. Geoff
  14. Nope, doesn’t happen. The truck was absolutely coated with goo several times and the Ollie nose, but the windows literally get nothing, not even any dirt to speak of. The front edge of the outdoor power socket and edge of the Truma door get it though. The windows have been trouble and maintenance free in over 3k miles. Pro tip to make them even more maintenance free is to SiO2 them. Water beads and runs off beautifully too, I use Griots Garage SiO2 window treatment. It’s not as serious as a full body coat, less concentrated, but it’ll last 3-6 months. Hey even the Secret Service uses it on the Beast.
  15. @jd1923 I would start hunting for the streetside light power wire at the main switch panel. I also think that is the easiest spot to tap the power wire for the new light you want to install, running a new wires, front to back, in the trough of the upper cabinets might be the easiest part of the job. 16. I wonder if it would be easy to add a switch to activate the white backup lights from inside the cabin?
  17. Yesterday
  18. It was a pleasure meeting you as well. How was your drive home?
  19. So, are you going to the Oliver Rally in October? And are you going to open your Ollie for tours? ;-)
  20. Sure - but... It's tinted glass - the bugs simply will not know what hit 'em.🪰🦟🐝
  21. We always called it the "kitchen junk drawer." Had one in every home we've owned, now including the Oliver! No remotes in ours, but most of the other stuff on her list, yes! 🤣 We have a spice rack above the cooktop in the overhead cabinet. Ours too would not fit in the junk drawer. I wanted all the many remotes, nicely held in the nightstand drawer. This picture is old and btw we traded in the Rummikub game for a Carbles board which doesn't fit in the nightstand! With our new A/C installation, I mounted the two most important remotes (fan and A/C) on the wall. We have two (2) TV remotes (since I always misplace one) so that one is always bedside on my custom shelf! I did screw into the interior of the nightstand drawer (should have used tape), but only 3M 4950 VHB tape on the fiberglass. Holds these shelves tight! More ideas Dan! 😎
  22. I was thinking by the front edge of these windows will collect bugs. Let us know next time you have a windshield full of bugs! 🤣
  23. Fixed! Thanks to all you guys especially @Tom and Doreen All you guys on this forum are so much help.
  24. LOL -- I have all my remote controls in there, where Oliver Delivery team placed them -- but also these things: my fire lighters; a clear plastic travel "soap box" that I use to collect miscellaneous "mystery parts" that I find now and then; I keep 'em just in case; sandwich baggie with bulldog clips, paperclips, rubber bands and twist-ties small flat koozies small pliers and a screwdriver with changeable tips; pens, pencils, sharpie markers; small box of magnets; a pad of sticky notes; my extremely condensed "GO LIST" that is my pre-travel checklist -- it sits on top and I only have to take a peek to be sure I'm ready. But I like your use as spice drawer. My spices wouldn't fit in there, though.
  25. It was nice meeting the two of you and pups Oliver & Winston this week while we were picking up Hull 1703 in Hohenwald.
  26. The Allen screws can be turned in either direction. The plus and minus in the photo explains what happens when you turn that screw in that direction. For example, on the left side of the photo above, turning the Out screw counterclockwise reduces (-) how far the awning goes out. If you turned it clockwise instead, the awning would extend more. You want to turn your In screw in the + direction to make your awning pull in farther. Adjust it a little at a time and try the awning after each adjustment until you get it right.
  27. Well maybe it was done in some past year but AFAIK 2026 is unique in that it I think is the only one with ‘crack open’ flush mount windows and roller shades, with valances on the top. Plus the long running Truma integrated system. One year only and boom - take it all out and go to a fully open window with new (presumably custom Oliver designed) shade frame. And too all new appliances. And yes the 2027 windows look like the same ones in the 2026 just with a different opening mechanism. This year's model opens a couple inches from a single handed center crank. Next year it looks like you open all the shades (including bug shade!) to access two side props in a two handed operation. So none of that at night half asleep. But the window does a 1/8 or 1/4 open. Otherwise it looks like the same window which is not recessed and overlays the windows frame and shell. It’s zero issue. Not sure there’s any more glass protection slightly recessed as previously or overlay as now. On the road debris will follow the air flow regardless. If anything recessed will create a slight low pressure pulling it in with vortices and such. Anyhow the only protection is the present overlay system as that protects the more vulnerable frame and especially gasket. It’s maintenance free whereas the present one has weep holes and such. I love the new window system and was ecstatic when I heard it was coming on the year I happened to be buying. It was long on my list, Escape pioneered this in eggs and I learned about the style there (except they use acrylic windows). For Oliver it completes the ‘marine style’ design. The only exposed gaskets they have now are the 120V socket and a few odds and ends like the roof gubbins.
