  1. As you can see from the candle flame the return vent increases air flow. The inverse is true when the bathroom vent is on, with the door closed.
  2. Think we have to remember that the heat loss, from long pipes in the basement area, are what keeps pipes and tanks from freezing?
  3. Did a search on line: heated camp chair. Results looked like that above, except the price. Most $150 to $199..
  4. Last year we got a couple of their folding rocking chairs. Another group we hang with all asked where they came from. Heard they sold out soon after, but they had some. Hopefully this year they have the battery operated heated ones. That should extend our shoulder season, for those of us that live above the Mason/Dixon Line...
  5. Did we go to the same Boy Scout camp? I think that is what my brother told me, they did, if I remember right.
  6. The local one I usually go into I don't recall an RV section either. It was a full and razor straight display, so must be new? It was way back in the rear against the wall near the batteries. Seeing most major retailers have the same 'plan-0-grahms I wouldn't be surprised to see it in all soon?
  7. Made a quick trip through the Tractor Supply in Lewiston, Maine. Was surprised to see a new 8' display of RV supplies. Will have to go back when have more time. Big new plastic wedges for the tires (means I can leave the heavy rubber ones home?)? Water hoses, dogbones, sewer connections and whatever. At least I will have to go back and make a mental note of what is there. I know TS are everywhere and if I need something like I might remember I can scoot in and get. Have to check prices too, as probably a lot better than some RV dealers, with better parking with a trailer on?
  8. All things discussed...both pro and con... have made me decided to sign. Thank you Matt Duncan for your patience and through explanations. I am sure that time might "tweak" the wording from time to time, but even the Constitution took amendments from time to time. And I wasn't even threatened by an 'admin' or FB...
  9. I got "warned" for talking censorship, an excuse that FB removed post and 'admin' came in and restored it. Then proceeded to close any further discussion. Let the New Generation roar! The devil's advocate is alive and well. Matt's explanation was well done. Maybe a copy of the "we hold you harmless" form should be published here...
  10. I signed up. Now they issued me a long ID#. And a password? May have to bow out? Just seems like a hassle somehow?
  11. If you show your unit, and no sale, you still get a reward. Harvest Hosts and a piece of clothing at different levels seems ok, not sure of any downside there. Copper bronze and up...who cares? Want me to brag up my camper to somebody, be happy too. Want to give me a tee shirt for doing so? Thank you. Got rewards I think you call them and they sent you a check in 30 days if you want it. Just more passwords to remember? My guess this is an attempt to have a computer program administer the program, minimize staff time involvement, and generate customer involvement? I would guess is your unit might be picked on how it is equipped. Maybe by who got the referal at the sales office? I was told by someone at the sales office once some times that is how it it happens.."it's cyclical".
  12. Cumbersome. Written by lawyers. Doesn't appear user friendly? They will charge for the use of the card? I showed 8 times one year, and sold 6. Other 2_bought used, so this program would have helped me. Haven't been asked to show since. Maybe me and my unit are getting too old? It does look like the Rewards Program is going to drive a Branded Store. Maybe that will be a positive.
  13. The black seems to be the most popular replacement color.
  14. Did you ever get your hull #?
  15. Correct me if wrong, but with a good website; could you not get parts from one place, screen printed items from another, and embroidered items from another? All seamless to the purchaser? Except maybe the merchandise might arrive in separate packages. No big deal, Amazon has made that a way of life and a normal everyday reality. Not to "gum up the works", but IT should be able to make it happen with a click of the mouse.
  16. Vest are great and useful. A fleece light jacket is popular. Coffee mugs look good in photos and around the campfire. Polo shirts look good on the golf course and that might be a good place to talk to future owners?
  17. Think we have met before maybe, but briefly. It was at a National Rally in 2017 or maybe the third one at Gunterville? We are kind of co-host ing the event. We are keeping it quiet, at least for January, as you know the venues tend to be smaller in NE, and we want room for those invited. We will be there and look forward to meeting you again and Tali.
  18. I got a Rewards folder almost eight months ago. And have not heard more about it until today, and that is that it might be coming. I have not had a referral in almost two years, where I used to get a couple a month? I still wear branded merchandise that I got at a campground more than eight years ago. It is still recognised everywhere I go in the state. (It is getting thin in places). Here I am, watching it snow outside, thinking it might be nice to order some new "stuff" for the coming season. The choices out there are actually pretty plentiful. Maybe Perfect Stitch in Norway, Maine has something with a state logo, or something that matches my decal on front?
  19. That is the year O II we have, and had to replace the circuit board. If I recall correctly there was a "rash" of substandard boards around at that time...
  20. So you would recommend that everyone should have two 30 lb bottles?
  21. Shut off both propane tanks. Wait a few seconds. Then SLOWLY turn a tank on. Sometimes(?), turning on tank to quickly will jam the regulator. May not work, but nothing to loose???
  22. A back awhile ago we installed a vent high up in the bathroom wall. We installed it up there so no shower water could get to it. It improved to air flow greatly from the bathroom register as there was no way for the air to get to the return vent, with the door closed. As you can see from the candle flame the air moves freely now. A bonus was that the bathroom vent no longer had to struggle to get air to vent if the window was closed. We do have the heat register under the standard vent almost completely closed...
