  1. What besides water should / would be going down the sink drains? The clog then moves on in the drain system and hopefully is diluted or disbursed in the grey tank. The mini plunger is a good idea as a backup.
  2. Jason explained that once they come out of the mold they are trimmed to final size.
  3. UPDATE: Called Oliver on Monday morning, they called me back in about and hour and asked me to send pictures and measurements. I did that this AM and by 10 am had a call from Matt in the service department. They said they were sending me a new table this week. Not sure how much better service one could expect from a manufacturer.

  5. I think the Ollie interior looks like a small private Jet! Just need the "keep out" signs on the cockpit door (the head)!
  6. I like the slides but don't like the fact that you need to drill new holes through the bed floors. Unless the install puts nautical bedding compound around the holes and fasteners the new holes will introduce the possibility of rusting around those points. Doing it correctly with the install is easy but unless you supervise the install it is likely to be substandard. Just my 2 cents. Thanks
  7. Looks like the key here is what is the actual width the ledge. There is a pliable trim applied to the top go the ledge that the table sits on. On one side of trim is a slight lip. To me the lip should be on the outside of the trim so that it provides some resistance to lateral movement of the table. The trim on mine is on the inside. not sure how the restricts any lateral movement of the table. I will call Oliver and see what they say. In the interim I have a supply of composite wedges. Thanks for the responses!
  8. table width is 29-1/4" constant. recess is 29-1/2" aft and 29-3/4"+ forward. just enough if there is a minor shift the table drops in to the abyss!, The composite wedges are doing the job for now. Thanks for the response.
  9. Legacy Elite New guy here. Still in Ollie boot camp. Today I set up the bed for the first time. Good thing I did this before my first adventure as It collapsed. I retrieved myself from a stern down position and then examined what I may have done wrong. I measured the distance between the back of the space for the table to sit in (30") and the width of the table 29 1/4". I appears that unless the table sits exactly in the middle any movement left or right can cause one edge to slip off the ledge! My concern is the if the family pets are using this area as a safe refuge/ cage/ den..etc they would be critically injured when 300lbs of adult suddenly drop into that space! I have solved the problem in the interim by using composite (plastic) wedges to keep the table top centered. So far that seems to have solved the problem in the interim but this is not a long term solution.I did a 170 lb "jump test" to check... and no collapse of the table!
  10. I had a similar problem last night. I filled the tank to check the readout on the tank level monitor. I then raised the front of the trailer and opened the drain valve (my 2019 Elite 1 has only 1 valve, also opened the sink faucet and bathroom faucet for air relief on the line. The stream of water from the drain was really slow, it took over an hour to drain the tank? Is that normal?

  12. There is a 1.25" male to 2" female "conversion receiver" google it. Around $25. May be the interim answer to your concern.

  16. Just going through “basic training” here. How do I shutoff power from the batteries to the 12v system on the legacy elite? The wiring diagram appears to show a 50 amp breaker! Still looking for that,Help! Please! thank you
  17. 2019 GMC Canyon duramax diesel (4cyl) 2019 Oliver Elite #431. En Route from Hoenwald TN to MD. 30 mpg not towing, 21 mpg with Oliver attached.[attachment file=165975]
  18. Towing with the Macan with a similar weight load (4000lb boat and trailer) I got 12 mpg on premium fuel. About $0.40 / gallon more than diesel. the tongue weight from the boat really dropped the rear of the Macan
  19. Travel to Hoenwald 800 miles 29.5 mpg, 350 lbs in the truck averaged 73 mph. return with a “dry trailer” 3800lbs per Oliver. Average speed 62 mpg 21.3 i know that probably the 3 most important factors relative to real world mileage would be weight, speed and terrain. No point in analyzing friction coefficients for various tire pressure or road surfaces, prevailing wind speed or wind direction relative to travel direction Bottom line: mileage was better than I expected. Looks to me that the Canyon diesel and Oliver Legacy will be a great matchup! Safe to say 30 mpg not towing and 20 mpg towing.
  20. I am also now the proud owner of an Oliver Elite, after a 4 month gestation period Ollie #431 is officially out of the nest today!:Stage 1; Hohenwald TN to Culpepper VA. AM voyage 3/29/19 from Culpepper to a temporary roost in MD. Then north to the NY Finger lakes (Infinity and beyond!) for the spring/summer and early fall. The walk about begins! Thanks to all contributors on this great site! John Davies...love your posts and advice..thanks!

  23. Did my pre delivery check out on Ollie 431 on 3/21/19. and asked why the 80 psi inflation. I was told that was how the wheels and tires came in from the supplier. Guess they (the supplier) anticipated maximum weight on the trailer.Told them (OTT) to drop it to 60 psi. Did not want my trailer bouncing along the interstate as it was 1200lbs shy of GVW!
