Houghton AC-installing a Honeywell PRO 1000 Thermostat
Nan replied to Nan's topic in General Discussion
OK, still not able to get the Honeywell Pro 1000 to turn on the heat, but the Houghton AC and heater strip are working just fine. It is so much quieter. -
I am so glad to hear this!!! Thank you so much Rodney!

Anyone know where to buy the shower track that Oliver installs? Thank you.

Replacing slotted rubber tracks around the side windows
Nan replied to Nan's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Maybe Southland in Rincon, Georgia would give me an answer. They are the authorized Oliver dealer closest to me. Thanks everyone. -
Hello, the rubber tracks around my side windows (the ones that actually touch the outside of the windows) have folded over underneath the window. Because they folded over, they have become fragile and broken. I have attached photos below and was wondering if anyone could give me a part number or point me in the right direction of finding some replacement ones. Thank you! 2017 LE 2 Hull 267

Can someone please tell me how to wire the Honeywell PRO 1000 Thermostat (Heat Only) to the Houghton Air Conditioner? I opened a ticket with Mike Sharpe and he could not get me the information even though the service department had just wired the Dooley's Oliver the week before. I am all set to install the new AC, but need information on the wiring. Thanks so much everyone!

Wondering if a fiberglass boat repair business could take the Oliver sign out.
-
Grandson did that today before he put white duck tape over the whole sign.I am scheduled to go camping in a few days for 2 weeks and I was just going to cancel, but decided to rig it and just camp.I camp with a bunch of "Sisters on the Fly" ladies and most of them only paid a couple thousand dollars for their 30 year old campers..but you know what??? Theirs do not leak!!!
-
Leaking into the trough and out both ends making it look like the lights were the ones that were leaking.

Hull 267. Very poor design. Should have been solid fiberglass. with no Oliver sign or little lights. And I am not the only one that has had many problems with those.

This time an RV tech came and said the little round lights were leaking between the silver ring and the bulb. Ordered lights from e-trailer. Installed lights. Put water hose on back side of Oliver AGAIN. Still leaking. Ripped off the insulation and found the water coming from the damn Oliver sign AGAIN. Caulked everything one more time, but this time put white duck tape over the whole sign. Grandson will fix this when I get back from camping and this time will use J B Weld. I am so sick and tired of this camper leaking.

Hey Max, do you happen to have Mike's phone number? Thanks, Nan
-
Etrailer.com and here is the information on the lights. Red MCL10RKB and Amber MCL10AKB. These new replacements do not have the silver ring around them anymore, but are a much superior product than the ones we replaced. Oliver is out of them right now and Mike Sharpe is the man that gave me these part number which etrailer had the red ones in stock and will ship the amber ones when they receive them.
-
E-trailer just called me back and they do have them. Thanks everyone.
-
Can someone please tell me where I can buy the little leaking 3/4" red and amber marker lights? Oliver says they do not have any in parts and I cannot find them on etrailer.com either. They are leaking between the red or orange bulb and the silver ring that goes around it. Thanks, Nan

Please tell me what "marker lights" are. Thank you again.

Steve, as of right now I am coming to the rally, but am in a far away place..I am in F34.

Thanks, Sherry, I will try this. I did not get to keep the appointment with Southland RV in Richmond Hill, Ga. because I wound up with pneumonia and was in hospital for a week...I am still very weak and looks like it will take a while to recover. Maybe it is the Oliver sign and I will try your instructions. I wish Oliver would redesign their camper and leave out the sign because it is a PITA.
