  1. The Furrion television has been zapped with rain water from the Oliver sign (since repaired). Jason said I could buy another 12VDC 19" TV that would work boondocking but that I could also buy a 120VAC TV that would only work if plugged into shore power. He said I could actually go to a 28" TV, but would need to check and make sure it would fit with the window shade and wall. Has anyone actually replaced their television and could you please tell me what you bought? Thanks.
  2. I bought the sheets, mattress covers and blankets from AB Lifestyle. They have the measurements and all I had to tell them was that I was getting the twin mattresses. I understand they have mattress covers that now encase the entire mattress. They are lovely people to work with.
  3. Just need to ask: both Olivers seem to be Elite II so why are two sized screens listed as used..one being a 10' and one 14'? Thanks.
  4. Thank you for telling me this!!!
  5. Here is what happened with the previous owner. She only had the Oliver for a short while before she decided she was allergic to the fiberglass shavings that she found in the air conditioner and heater vents. At that time she had both of them removed and replaced with new units. She also had most of everything removed from the walls and the ac ducks cleaned out. I believe the bathroom duck that goes under the floor of the closet was crushed and the maintenance people were unable to remove it. Believe they installed a new duck because air does come out of the vent in the bathroom. Bathroom vanity was also removed and reinstalled. I do not think I truly realized the extent of all of this when I agreed to by her Oliver. I believe I asked for the problems I have had, but will continue to find and fix with the help of you wonderful people. I love my Oliver and maybe since I only paid $52,000 (2017 hull 267) for it, I did OK.
  6. Thanks everyone. I am going to follow everyone's advice and start searching. I have already cleaned out the window tracks once, used pipe cleaners and replaced the molding with black molding. I believe the leak that messed the TV (the Oliver sign) is now sealed. Think I am going to have to ask Grandson to come back over and check out the AC and everything on the roof because the one thing I am not supposed to do is climb on a ladder...lol. And I would love to buy your left over gutters. Please let me know how much and the shipping costs and thank you for offering to help me..this is not the first time you have been so kind. Blessings.
  7. After having found several water leaks, including one that screwed up the TV screen, I now have another one. This one seem to be on the curb side probably the window again. However, taking a water hose to the window does not seem to make it leak, but coming from Washington, DC in a down pour certainly did. Any suggestions?
  8. I have the same problem and there is no sound coming from the speaker by the door. I took the speaker out and it looks good so I will try taking the radio next. Thanks.
  9. Horace and Dianne, we are planning on picking up a 1995 BMW motor (for grandson) in Upper Marboro, Maryland...so guess it is not Maryland after all. LOL. Since I live outside of Savannah, Ga., this will be a long trip.
  10. I am in the market for this. Can someone please tell me what they have and the pros and cons for their brand and model..or just tell me what to buy? Thanks so much.
  11. Thanks, Sherry. Had a little set back so hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be ready to go camping to Virginia!!!!
  12. Thanks. The Oliver was only used for about 1200 miles before I bought it late last year. I have not been able to take it out due to knee and hip surgery. I am hoping that will change this coming Saturday. I only have a grey and fresh water tank to contend with as I have a composting toilet.
  13. Thanks again Mike. I will try that too.
  14. Thanks Mike. I will try draining it on a slope the next time I go over there. What about trying to fill it up and the water comes up in the bathroom floor and the sink in the kitchen and the monitor says it is only 69% filled?
  15. There are a few questions that I came up with today while sanitizing the gray and fresh water tanks. First, after about 20 or so minutes of running both sinks (Trying to fill up the gray tank), The shower and sink start to fill up regardless of is the shower trap is open or closed. Does this mean that it is full? If so, the gray tank monitor says that is is only 69% filled. Next, after draining the tank with the slinky looking holder with no high points and with the camper completely level, the level reads 38%. Is this a level sensor problem? If so, can it be replaced and where is it? Theres nothing in the black tank, so it reads 0% and the fresh water drained to about 9% and filled up to 100% on the monitor so I don't thing it's the monitor itself. Thanks, Nan.
  16. Thanks everyone! I really appreciate your time.
  17. Would someone please measure their dinette cushions and give me the size? I have to have some made and I have given the measurements of 25x25x4 to the upholstery people. Thank you so much. Nan 2017 Elite II Hull 267
  18. I am following this, BuckandConnie because I do not know either.
  19. Thanks Mike. I have a new anode and a toothbrush wire brush. All I need is WD 40. I honestly don't think the previous owner had a clue about these problems. She had a new heater and air conditioner installed trying to rid the Oliver of all of the fiberglass that was left in the ducts. It is obvious she never turned on the heater (because it would not have come on) and she had no clue to not leave the anode out of the water heater. She had only pulled the Oliver about 1600 miles when she sold it to me. So, I am certainly not faulting her. This is all a learning curve for me and it has been a little confusing because I don't have an Oliver tech walking me through it. But, thanks to people on this forum, I am getting closer to being able to go on the road.
  20. Thanks Mike. This is the way the camper came from the previous owner. I am really beginning to wish I had bought a new Oliver.
