  1. Another option is water management district camping. I just booked for April 2022 and found availability after facing same issue with lack of availability. Campendium app for phone is very helpful identifying all options in the area you are interested in.
  2. Very informative. Most campgrounds limit rigs 25 feet and less just within Oliver EII limits!
  3. Can we get them to come to the Rally in May?🤓
  4. Cool flagpole pictures all. Anyone putting a cell antenna on one of these poles to enhance signal?
  5. We will be attending also as newbies. We are schedule for pickup March 2022. Estimated hull #1049. Looking forward to meeting and learning
  6. After the tragic tornados in Kentucky I began wondering what the Oliver community does while camping to stay alerted to potentially hazardous weather. I see many NOAA radios out there but was curious about what you all use.
  7. An absolutely amazing hike. We were there in April 2015 and there were some crowds but no waiting. I guess the permit system is just part of the "new" park experience.
  8. Sheesh gang I rely on you already Ollie owners to slow feed me the CoolAid while I await delivery in March 2022. Don't tell me camping is ruined even if it's true! I am realistic that camping has changed and is now more popular. Sites will be more difficult to get and require planning. Since we are purchasing while still working, we will use our Ollie locally in Michigan and get used to all of the bells and whistles it offers. We also have not spent a lot of time camping for extended periods outside of our backyard so we don't remember the glory days when you could show up and find a site. Maybe that helps us have more realistic expectations? I do hope and think the fervor will die down in the coming years and the camping life will still be appealing. Time will tell.
  9. Well done Fritz. Thanks for taking the time and providing in-depth detail. We are scheduled for March 2021 pickup. I thought lithium was a no brainer to add but rethinking a bit. Might opt for AGMs and upgrade later.
  10. What TPMS are you all using and feedback please for LEII?
  11. We are planning to travel with our American Field lab that is a shedding machine. I have read other threads about dog hair clogging vents and in once case I think impacting furnace? What do you all do to manage fido's fur in your Ollie?
  12. Really useful information for us future to be Oliver owners. Not just helpful for pickup but also looking at list gives me ideas for areas I need to educate myself more thoroughly about the trailer. Many thanks to all.
  13. John my TV will be VW Touareg TDI that does not have Apple Airplay. I currently use the GAIA app for hiking trails and like it. Looking to plan a trip in south least US after Ollie pickup and March and a future trip around Lake Superior. I am considering one of the Garmin GPS units mentioned in other posts.
  14. Thanks Mike and Carol. I am more interested in route planning.
  15. We have the same experience. Every hull that rolls off the Oliver line puts us one closer to our arrival in spring 2022!
  16. What software tools are you all using to plan your Oliver trips? I have seen Garmin basecamp mentioned but interested to hear other options. Especially interested in integration with base unit in TV. Thanks in advance!
  17. Intersting update lost. We are scheduled for pickup March 2022 and definitely want composting toilet. I guess we will wait and see how production plays out.
