KOA is high dollar. We have never stayed at one. We may someday if it is the only real option.

Sometimes it looks like KOA is the best option while rolling. What does everyone think about KOA? Sure is not cheap!

I have got as far as Washington with our trip. I think I like Dyrt.

I just signed up with DYRT. I have tried RVParkey and RF Life. One of those sucked a lot and the other sucked somewhat less.. I let mu Harvest Host expire. I could never use it when we needed it. Hosts never called back, or nothing appealing appeared on my route. I will reserve my main destination, but reserving every little stop along the way there and back takes the fun out of it. It seems less of an adventure planning the stops. I like to explore and go where the road takes me. I did that for years on the bike, but doing it towing my house might be tougher. Trying to adjust.

Thanks. This is our first big trip out west and I am just trying to get a feel for the likelihood of rolling up on a place and it having a spot. I have no problem staying one day and moving around or moving on, but I don't want to be left with no options. I like the Corp parks too.

How big of a chance would it be that I am left with no where to stay if I went from NE Arkansas to Seattle Washington with no reservations? I would be leaving home June 1st and returning 60 to 90 days later. Break it down by: National/State/Corp of Eng./National Forest parks? Private campgrounds like KOA, etc.? Rest Stops? Retail Parking lots? What else?

We were trying to get off the freeway and got on a highway in Massachusetts that had height restriction below our Ollie height. It was a restricted access road and we did not see the sign until it was too late to turn around. We got off as soon as we could.

The 890 is old. It had I think the new one is RV 895

Has anyone purchased a new Garmin? I got the Garmin DriveSmart 66 a few months back. Very disappointed. It only has two navigation calculation modes. The old Garmins had The new ones only have A person would never use straight line in a vehicle. All the new ones want to get you on the interstate as fast as they can. I am told all new Garmin only offer these two calculation modes. Very disappointed.

I have watched that guy before. He is pretty fair. I will watch this video later today.

We got 15.6 on our 3,000 mile trip to upstate NY and back down the eastern seaboard to Virginia beach then due west back home. 2015 2500 Duramax.

I bet that was us. We were in campground 1, but circled through 2 when we came in. You guys had left when we walked over there.

We saw two Oliver Elite II's at Table Rock Lake campground in Missouri. Driving there, we talked about the fact we had only seen one since we bought ours in August of 2023. BTW - If you are around TRL or Branson you have to eat at College of the Ozarks. The food is fantastic and the service was great. You got exactly what I was trying to say. The lower hull in another color, or another shade of white would look very good.

The bright moon this morning cast a shadow perfectly at the line of the bottom hull making it look dark. It looked good. I don't know anything about fiberglass. How hard is it to make it a different color? I wonder if a color, especially at the water line, would attract more buyers?
