New to us, 2019 Oliver Legacy Elite II, hull 448
HDRider replied to ChristianD's topic in Introduce Yourself
Welcome and enjoy. -
There is a almost grown female cat living at the Oliver Service Center. There is a cat that lives at the camp ground in Bull Shoals. Everyone knows to bring it food. https://www.arkansasstateparks.com/parks/bull-shoals-white-river-state-park It is so sad that people let fertile cats run around to breed more unwanted pets. Same thing goes for dogs.

Do you drink the water from your fresh tank?
HDRider replied to Dennis and Melissa's topic in General Discussion
Has anyone here got sick from drinking, or using the water for cooking, brushing your teeth, from the Ollie tank? -
Accurately measure propane level for under $10

I was going to say this same thing. -
I took the inside cover off this morning. Both drain lines are well connected. Most of the time water drains out just fine. I do not consider the drain lines at fault. I think it is the pan. Is there a pan? I think the drain (pan?) is very sensitive to the fore and aft angle. It feels like the trailer has to be very level to drain correctly. I might consider this degree of sensitivity a design flaw. Looking at the drawing in the manual provided by Oliver, the AC is meant to drain out on the roof. Has Oliver tried to overcome that with the drain hoses? Is there even such a thing as a drain pan?

Glad you love your Ollie.

I don't really know. Mine does not have a cutout. It has the shield like on the left pic. I have a custom exhaust and the cutout did not work for me. I just went through the shop by truck option and it only gives me the commercial option. I am not sure if they called it that when I bought mine. I really do not recall. Mine looks just like the one they call commercial. https://www.agricover.com/mud-flaps/results/

I have them. I like them. Very easy to put on, and take off. Just reread. I do not have the cutout. Mine has a metal heat shield on the inside. It does soot up the lower fender.

Funny you post that. Last summer my AC was dripping down the front street side corner. Oliver blamed that on the angle of the trailer. Something is fishy.
-
That sure sounds like the problem.
-
The nose was down. I raised the nose and the leaking stopped. I find it concerning that the angle of the trailer, ever so slight, could cause this.

Our Oliver is a 2023 with the Truma AC. If you live in the south you know how hot and humid it is right now. I turned the Truma on about noon today. I went out just now to turn the AC off and water was leaking like crazy inside luckily falling squarely in the aisle and not on the twin beds. Does anyone know why this is happening? It has never happened before. I routinely run the AC when we are home and the Ollie is docked. Thanks

I ran across a guy from Texas with an Elite II that made some out of wood. I came back and made some. I have been using them this year.

I wonder why no one sell a wheel chock that fits snuggly between two wheels made out of resin or heavy plastic shaped like If you have access to an injection molding machine and want to make me a pair I will pay you.
-
Can you provide a link to where you got them? Or, a part number and the manufacturer? They look great

We meet a couple from AZ at the Buck-ees in Amarillo. We saw another Ollie going west on 40 about 3 hours west of Oklahoma City. Our Ollie count during our 7,000+ mile trip was 3.
-
We talked to a young man working at the ice cream place across from the statue. He said on a slow day maybe 300 people take a picture of it. The power of one line in one song!

Sitting in our Ollie with the AC blowing it is 96 degrees outside. Another Oliver is setting up across the campground. About the only time to sit outside is 5 AM.
-
Anyone use these? I think they are the new Oliver standard. https://www.amazon.com/Homdec-Interior-Lighting-Surface-Dimmable/dp/B097SKPXSC?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=A1CK9LI16C4XW1&th=1

My stove one is acting exactly like your sink one. My sink one was acting up, but it seems to be fine now. I don't use the other touch lights very much. Thanks for the link. Those seem to be the very thing I was looking for.
-
Am I the only one having problems with the touch lights?
-
Thanks. I contacted Oliver via e-mail and got this. The price has went up and the services has went down.
