We booked three nights at Wyalusing State Park. WI is kinda expensive. The price I pay for your excellent cheese!
-
It seems crazy to me that private campgrounds CAN provide water to campsite in WI, but the state cannot.
-
I think we have confirmed WI SP's do not provide water at each site. At all. Do they always have a drive-in, hose accessible community spigot to refill the freshwater tank?
-
Just checked La Crosse. Their high is my low. Like you said, all a matter of perspective. BTW - Good luck with your next governor.

We really like state parks. I guess we have been lucky, nothing has been pilfered. We leave the cap wide open and setup when we leave it to look around. We do lock the trailer. I have found most parks have city water at the site. We did a 4,000 mile trip up to NY and back down the coast to VA and back to Arkansas in 2024 and I think a SP in Indiana is the only one with no site water. We did 7,000 last year out west to Montana and down the coast to CA. Every SP had water. Maybe it is a northern thing.

I am looking for a city water connection at the campsite. Are you saying WI does not offer city water connections at the campsite?

#1 Oliver Travel Trailers Oliver Travel Trailers builds about 100 units per year in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Each trailer uses a double-hull fiberglass shell, foam-core insulation, and an aluminum chassis. There is no wood in the walls to rot or absorb moisture. Two 250-point inspections and limited production add to the appeal, while used inventory remains scarce. The video reports that 5-year-old Olivers can sell near their original purchase price, with 10-year-old examples retaining 70% to 80%. -
We thought we might escape the heat and go to Wisconsin, especially The Driftless area. Does anyone have a recommendation? I haven't found one with water.
-
That happened to me once. I blew out the drip hoses.
-
I have to think they suffer with it. I hear that over and over from business owners.
-
You guys OK? I saw some bad flooding on the news in that area.
-
Welcome to the club. There are a lot of options I'd skip if I knew then what I know now. I am happy to offer my thoughts if you want to discuss your option choices.
-
I have to think the lack of authorized or certified Oliver service outside of Hohenwald is a bit of a turnoff to some. Prospective buyers need to realize the vast majority of RV repairs have nothing to do with the trailer shell itself. My research says these guys operate similarly. There might be more. This sucks all the way around. I wonder what percentage of Oliver owners have this problem.
-
Is that the Oliver rate?

I really like My Ollie. I want to see the Oliver company do well. God bless all ya'll.

Can't is such an easy answer.

I used Oliver 24' weight to math out what a 28 or 30 footer would weigh. My point is, I don't think it will weigh substantially more than an Airstream, especially if they stay more narrow than an Airstream. Oliver should tells us what is possible. Did you look at the starting price of the Airstream. Those things are very expensive. Size matters.
-
I met a young lady using a Casita her grandfather bought new. People like them. The real metric is profitability. Profitability is often times a factor of economies of scale. I want to see Oliver live well on into the future.
-
A 28' Airstream starts at $190 and weighs 8,800 # I estimate a 28' Oliver would weigh a little over 8,000# using the pound per foot of an E II. A 30' Airstream starts at $204 and weighs 10,000. I estimate a 30' Oliver would weigh a little over 8,800#. I want Oliver to thrive. You innovate or die. Casita is going to eat Oliver's lunch.

I went to the Vortex website. I could not find a dealer locator. How did you find a shop using Vortex? Thanks
