SeeLevel 2 only Reads 19 & 38 on Fresh Tank

Recommended Posts

On 2 recent trips, I have filled the fresh tank from city water, probably 3 or 4 times. The monitor only reads 19 and then jumps to 38 & never goes higher. I fill it till over flowing, an it has been filled on relatively level ground or tongue down. I really don't recall if it worked well or differently before paying attention these times.

Any idea what could be the cause?

I have given up. The monitors never give accurate data and I have accepted that as fact.

Agree 100%. These external sensors are some better than in other RVs. We just know how many days the gray and black will last and have extra fresh tank in the TV. We don’t use the readout.

Bad sensors.  Like those who posted above, we have learned that our fresh, gray and black tank sensors are terribly inaccurate.  Our fresh tank sensor, for example, reads 68% when the tank is overflowing (and therefore clearly  full) with the trailer level.

Same here - our fresh tank sensor never reads >94%...  We use the readouts as just a "ballpark" sense of the condition of each of the 3 tanks - for that, they're fine for us.

Our fresh tank maxes out at 88%. I always overflow the tank and still 88%. Gray tank monitor was replaced under warranty. I just add 12% when looking at the fresh tank monitor.

Me too.  I try to keep rough track of consumption.  All of our fresh water goes into the grey tank but the two indicators (fresh and grey) never add up.  I was thinking of trying to correct it before my trailer goes out of warranty but decided it's really not worth it.

I had a similar problem.  Then I re-leveled the Ollie very carefully and the tank numbers made a little bit more sense.

It was amazing that just a few degrees of incline can make on the math.

I'm going to play with that when I bring the trailer home and fill it.
