Dennis and Melissa Posted October 22 Posted October 22 I’m not even sure that’s what they are called. But mine have started to fail, even wiggling out on occasion. 😩So I want to buy 2 new ones. I can’t find them on the internet and the mothership doesn’t have them for sale. Any ideas? 2024 OLEII - Hull MDIV, born 3/13/24 Ram 1500 5.7L 8 cyl hemi, 4wd, max tow, air shocks, 6’4” box, crew cab

Pay particular attention to the little "ball" in one end and the "push button" in the other and also give the holes in the bumper a little shot of lube (WD-40 or something similar) from time to time. Bill p.s. you might also take a look in Tractor Supply if that is easier - they used to carry these pins. 1 7 2023 Ford F150 Lariat 3.5EB FX4 Max Towing, Max Payload, 2016 Oliver Elite II - Hull #117 "Twist" Near Asheville, NC
taylor.coyote Posted Monday at 11:10 AM Posted Monday at 11:10 AM I replaced mine a number of years ago. Don't recall my source. You should search for marine stainless steel quick release pins. You will find a variety of lengths and diameters with and without leashes. The marine grade are spendy but they will not corrode. 1 2016 Legacy Elite II, Twin Beds, Hull #124 Tow Vehicle: 2019 Ford F250 4x4 / Short Bed / Crew Cab / 6.7 Diesel Fieldbrook, Ca

srthomsen Posted Monday at 03:06 PM Posted Monday at 03:06 PM Dennis and Melissa; your first photo appears to show the small 'ball' in the end of the pin is missing. Perhaps it's my eyesight. That small ball is the only thing that will keep the pin from making its way free. 3 2023 Elite #1403--2019 Ford F150--2.7 Ecoboost V6--10 speed auto--without Max Tow

I use spray white lithium grease, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel. Lasts longer than WD-40. 1 3 Hull #1291 Central Idaho 2022 Elite II Tow Vehicle: 2019 Tundra Double Cab 4x4, 5.7L with tow package
Jim and Chris Neuman Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Any marine supply store will have them. Try West Marine. Another thought - if pin detent ball is frozen, then the pin could conceivably back out. Make sure the plunger and detent ball are lubed and move freely. Edited 7 hours ago by Jim and Chris Neuman 1
Dennis and Melissa Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Thanks everyone. I bought 2. One is already functioning as a replacement. The other has been added to the Ollie's garage. 🙂 2024 OLEII - Hull MDIV, born 3/13/24 Ram 1500 5.7L 8 cyl hemi, 4wd, max tow, air shocks, 6’4” box, crew cab
