John and Jodi
Is Oliver affected by the LP gas fittings recall? A recall was announced affecting 21,000+ RVs on Monday, May 9th. Just wondering. 1 John and Jodi San Antonio, TX 2022 Elite II - Hull #1126 being pulled by a 2022 F-150 Powerboost. Galway Girl
In March I reported my Truma water heater failure to NHTSA. Instantly on the call they asked me to identify by Brand/Model/SN the LP Gas Regulator. They said at that time they were tracing down many regulator/parts failures and about to do a big recall. After sharing pictures of our Regulator and Fittings they said our Oliver installed parts aren't the brand/model in their recall. Moderators Mike and Carol Posted May 13, 2022 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2022 I feel pretty confident that the folks at Oliver would notify owners immediately if there was this type of recall. Moderators SeaDawg Posted May 13, 2022 Moderators Share Posted May 13, 2022 I saw this yesterday, and doubt we have anything to worry about. I went through the list of manufacturers, though, in case i had any friends with sob trailers or coaches who didn't see the alert. Thankfully, I don't. If you do, you might send an email. Looks like none of those manufacturers intend to notify owners til summer is half over. 2008 Ram 1500 4 × 4 2008 Oliver Elite, Hull #12 Florida and Western North Carolina, or wherever the truck goes.... 400 watts solar.
