Camping Near Richmond, VA

Recommended Posts

I have been camping near Richmond, Va waiting for my first grandchild to be born and to keep busy I scouted out a few places to do some landscape photography. The citizens of Richmond have done a great job of protecting the James river which winds it's way through the downtown area. Richmond has been called 'the most beautiful river city' in America and I can see why.

Love the photos, Steve. Thanks for sharing.

I especially love the photo of the bridge supports.

Steve, we just love the light, contrast, reflection and arches fading away inside of each other in #2 !

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I will continue to post here in a effort to help this forum come alive. I know there are other owners out there that are using their rigs and can contribute as well. As far as my Oliver goes, the more I use it the more I realize how special it is. I really appreciate all the thought that went into it's design and production.

Be careful what you wish for - I'm just about to leave on my annual 2 month fishing trip in Wyoming.  Certainly pictures will follow.

Is there an existing thread here for photos taken while on camping trips other than campground reports?

Thanks,
