  1. Brandi, I have tons of pictures of your red trailer and the black trailer taken all the way from 2008 to present. Your history seems to be spot on. We are currently traveling in the far western reaches. We have just left from leading the Southern Utah Tour and are headed north towards Salt Lake City and then on into Idaho, Washington and Oregon. We will be home sometime in mid July. I would be happy to share what pictures I have of your trailer with you.

  2. I have the same problem. When I can I lift the hitch to get a gravity flow and I have also tried to have the monitor clean from various suggested additives. I have learned to live with it and now just keep an I on usage. When we both shower I tend to empty it.

  3. In the bed of the truck I carry two larger "zero gravity" chairs and two small camp chairs, a camp table, Weber charcoal grill, Weber propane grill, charcoal, chocks and blocks and on long trips or boondock trips a generator and 20lb propane tank (we have all that on this current trip). The closet is for hang up clothes, shoes, hamper, and miscellaneous things (first aid kit, small hand vac, tool kit, etc). The back overhead (attic) is for some of my clothes and then containers with DVD's, spare parts (fuses, hose gaskets, on command tape, etc). The back two side overheads are for clothes. The two over the kitchen for kitchen things. The two over the dinette for some bathroom items, a toaster and a small coffee maker (Nespresso Pixie). In the basement I carry water hoses and accessories (Y spitter, pressure regulator, nozzle) power cables, 50a adapter, 20a adapter, surge protector, toilet additives in a bucket (detergent, water softener). 4. Anyone know where to purchase the little square twist lock fasteners that hold the refrigerator vent covers to the trailer? Mine have become brittle and a couple have broken.

  5. You bought a unique piece of fiberglass and Oliver history. Your camper was one of the earliest show models. The black one had Vegas style upholstery. Cute, but probably not great fabric. Back in the day, customers could ship any fabric they wanted, and Oliver's upholsterer would work with it. Not very economical, really. However, I suspect the first owner of your trailer wanted something to his/ her taste, even if it didn't match the trailer color. Or, had a local recover the first set, as, again, not to his/her taste. We were the first (hull #12) to ask for an upgraded more supportive foam. The first few trailers had a foam that was lower density, kind of bottomed out if you weighed more than 150 pounds. Oliver made our foam choice standard after seeing ours made up. Since you were planning to make new covers, anyway, (and you do beautiful work!), can you work with the foam, or do you need to replace it, as well? Maybe, the ugly covers got you better foam? Or not... Just curious. Btw, we leave the back dinette set up as a bed, all the time. Fwiw, I'd get a 2/3, 1/3 mattress if and when we ever replace the large dinette cushions. But, that's just us. We only use the small dinette for seating. Congrats again. I swooned over your trailer nine and a half years ago. Still do. It's so unique, and cute. Sherry

  6. Charlie, I believe our older vent covers are Dometic. You may want to call Oliver to find out the supplier of your vent covers. If they're Dometic, call, and they'll either have them, or refer you to their parts partner. Ask for the part number so you can Google shop the parts. Dometic has bought out a number of small and large suppliers. In the good old days, suppliers would ship small items like that for free, or a very small cost. Not so much, anymore, if it's Dometic and over a few years old I often find parts for my older 2008 cheaper on eBay than through Dometic and their parts partner... However, the eyebrow board for my refrigerator was less through their parts partner. No rhyme, nor reason. Sherry

  7. My standard one works fine and it is not loud. Partly, probably, because they are ducted.

  8. I didn't know there was an option. What model Atwood is it? Is the Atwood furnace quieter?

  9. It's nice to have numbers for the levels, but being that the tanks are set on blocks to give them a bit of tilt, the percentage will be off by quite a bit. Since you already have your bucket set up, after you tilt and dump some time maybe then add 3 1/2 buckets and see what the number is for the half tank, I've tried and ours reads 75% at about half full. This would give us a close measured half tank value. Also because of the angle of the tank, it reads 100% full long before the water comes out of the overflow. You can't get an accurate tank reading gauge with the flat tanks that we have being tilted a bit because the inputs would have to placed on both the high side by the bathroom for full and down at the low side by the rear bumper for empty . So I just don't go by the numbers. We know that the tank is 100% full when the water comes out the overflow :)

  10. We store ours at a local RV and Boat storage place. It is covered and has 20a electrical service. It has two security gates and cameras. Just 5 miles from our house. We would store it at our house but our restrictions don't allow that. Mike

  11. This is the single best accessory I've seen on this forum, got one shortly after it was mentioned and it went up about a month ago and hasn't come down yet, sitting in it now actually. Thanks to whomever first brought it up.

  12. With the toaster oven, just make sure that it is small enough to fit in the overhead bins and that its wattage is not too high for the inverter. I've found that some foods (like pizza and toast) are simply better using the toaster oven versus the microwave.

  13. Yosemite It was a great trip with a few great friends :) More pics to come, but I'm finding that taking the time to get the pics off of the good camera, really cuts into our retirement time :) hehe
