  1. I just got the art work back from the sign shop and here is the new designed logo for our trailer. It will be 22" round, the "Lone Star Travelers" is what we call ourselves, the Ft. Worth city emblem is on the state part as that's were we live. Don't think we copied anyone else, only exception is the state logo part was taken from our new Ram as it is a Lone Star Edition sold by Ram in Texas, the rest is my brain at work. Now if you see us camping, or elsewhere stop by we want to meet you as we are new to the Oliver world. trainman

  2. We took possession of our trailer (2 Hobos) in May and now we have a new parking place for it. Attached is a pic of a new building for HOBO just completed (sort of) today. The structure is 32' long, 20 wide, and ceiling height is 12'. Door opening is 12' wide by 11 tall. I think even a blind pig could slip HOBO into this without much trouble. Overhead door, concrete floor (with help from friends), and exterior stonework (me) next. In that order. Electric and water soon to arrive too. We're really excited to get HOBO under cover. The really amazing part of this story is that it was constructed by two young Amish men (early 20s) in just four days. That is from bare ground to final structure Four days, 2 men. These are remarkable young folks. We had a lot of fun together and really enjoyed having them around for the last few days. We formed a personal relationship with them and hope to see them again soon.

  3. I had the same 404 errors last night, but not today. Still difficulty logging out, with any of the three logout buttons. I have to logout, close out of the forum, wait a few minutes before going back. Then I am logged out. I'm sure Matt and Jason will resolve this next week. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm on an Android phone. Sherry

  5. NowrNever, you asked what other folks’ weights were. On our LEII the tongue weight is around 650-675 pounds and the loaded trailer is about 6,700 pounds. I have the tongue basket with a Honda 2000 generator and a fuel container with about 2-3 gallons in it. I also have the two 30 pound propane tanks. We also always travel with a full fresh water tank and empty (as much as possible) black/grey tanks. I tow with a 3/4 ton truck and don’t use the Andersen Hitch. As John said, the Oliver LEII trailers tow perfectly stable.

  6. Stopped at rest area along I-10 in FL panhandle, a Casita pulled up beside me and two gentlemen from Arizona asked to check out the Oliver. They seemed to be quite familiar with the Oliver story, and were quite impressed with the tour. Oliver sightings are rare, it seems.
