  1. The storms that hit Middle TN last night meant our power was out and we had to get back home to mind the generators and cancel our camping plans, but we picked up our beautiful trailer today and got it back home to Nashville TN. Everything is top notch so far and we couldn't be happier. Also today having some A/C is a blessing. Bonus driveway storm damage we had to clear just to get the trailer parked at home.

  3. Hi Oliver family, we're Mark and Teri. Last Friday we headed south to tour the Oliver factory and see the travel trailers first hand. We had been pondering the thought of purchasing a travel trailer for years now, but never researched it enough to make it happen. Well if the pandemic has taught us anything at all it's that we enjoy being together every single day and we are ready to enjoy retirement by traveling the US. We both have backgrounds in manufacturing but that did not prepare us the remarkable manufacturing process we witnessed at Oliver. It was incredible how much respect was put into their product. Needless to say we were smitten after the tour. Mark had told me we would tour the plant, see the trailers, get much needed information and return home to ponder and research further. Jason was helping us get a quote together, I thought it would be a figure Mark and I would discuss later at home. I excused myself to use the restroom, when I returned Jason was sliding over paperwork for Mark to sign. I look at Mark and he says to me, well you ready to start living our dream. He was signing a sales order. He was getting us an Elite II, standard with a king bed. Although they couldn't scheduled our pick up date for my birthday next year they came awful close. To say we are excited is an understatement. I think I have sent photos to all my family and friends. So here I am scouring over the Oliver forum trying to soak in all the information I can. So many more questions, good thing I have 10moths to find all the answers. Sales order signed 8/12/21, pick up date 6/20/22 at 8:30am. ❤️

  4. Hey it’s my public wall. I am writing on it. And you are reading it. My profile shows “2020” as my “model year” and I really need it to be 2021. And soon I will change the part that says “No I don’t own an Ollie” to YES I DO, an Elite 1. Thanks all, for everything. Here. A gratuitous puppy pic. He is three yrs old soon. THEY GROW UP SO FAST.

  5. First Spring trip. We went down with the kids to visit my nephew last night in Birmingham, AL. 3 hr drive. The Oliver is very well suited for city boondocking. We parked with no hookups at his apartment complex in a great spot that very few TT/TV combos could have reached. We had 100% batteries (920 Ah) when we arrived due to the solar and DC/DC charger working great finally. During the night, it dropped down into the low 40s. We had the heat set at 68 AUTO on the Atmos and I have to say between the quiet and new Tochta mattresses it was probably the most pleasant night I have spent in the Oliver. Comfortable and quiet. Great combination. When the heat pump was on it was pulling around 98 amps or 1300 W. Woke up with 77% battery left. I wanted to check out the propane use with the new (2) 30 lb aluminum tanks but will save it for another trip. BTW, filled them yesterday and only got 7.2 gallons in each before the safety pressure valve kicked in. I was hoping for 8 gallons. But they sure felt lighter and it we easier loading them into the new mounts. No rust to look at too! Also, another side note to any Tundra owners. The Dobinsons heavy duty leaf springs are a huge upgrade for pulling the Oliver. Pulled like it was riding on a cloud. Interestingly, the hitch tongue weight never read more than 450 lbs. Looking forward to annual glide coat application by CGI next month. Since my camper lives outside this has been a game changer for keeping it clean and shiny. Shoulders don't hurt so much. All good news this morning, after months of tinkering. Get out there! Mike

  6. I'm wondering if it would be interesting to launch a thread about "Previous AS Owners - Why'd Y'all Switch to an OTT?"? It might generate some nice dialog about "Why" they moved to an Ollie, I'm think'n...

  7. Steve, I am glad to hear you are safe and happy with the new camper. I have been “ghosting” you for months. Your commentary has been very helpful in my option decisions. I had similar considerations of the Kimberley line years ago. We came to the same conclusion. Stay safe and happy travels. Steve

  8. Well, we finally collect our "new to us" Oliver this month! Been searching for quite some time and found Hull #226 for sale. Having owned 2 Airstreams and a Casita we feel the Oliver has 95%+ of the features we want in a TT. We've both learned a lot lurking around the O Forums for almost 2 years now! Looking forward to meeting other Ollie owners on the road and comparing notes... Y'all travel safe! A, D, and M (woof!)

  9. Hi Kathy - Tom and I went to TN last week and finalized our order for an Elite II twin bed trailer (our pick up date is January 5, 2023). Upon returning to CT, I saw your posts and YouTube videos showing your trailer (beautifully decorated!) and what products you have used to organize it. I am so grateful for the information you provided as I loved your recommendations and you saved me untold hours in trying to figure this out on my own. I am now expecting numerous deliveries from AB Lifestyles, Teakworks4U, and Amazon, and already have your storage baskets from Target. 😊 Thank you, thank you, thank you!! With warm regards and much appreciation, Doreen
