  1. Fast forward to 2020... Since I am unable to find other posts about this issue, I'm curious if anyone else has had windows fail. We just had our street side/aft window replaced during our Ollie's annual checkup. Unfortunately, we are out of warranty so that added $400 to the bill. Now, on the road, we've noticed the other street side window has failed. What are we doing wrong? Any suggestions? (While in storage, streetside faces east & Refectix in all windows.) Thanks, Chris
  2. A couple weeks ago, while at a Harvest Host in Atkins, AR (Paw Paw's Pecans-Great place!) we met a couple from FL who were moving to Wichita, KS to be centrally located for traveling. I'm fairly sure I failed to disguise the "are you crazy!?" look on my face. (The aeronautical industry took my brother there 40+ years ago. He agrees. 🤓)
  3. We were in Hohenwald for service Oct 4-7. The 1st night we camped in the sales office parking lot. They have several power pedestals to use. There were three other campers there with us & one was a couple scheduled for a factory tour. While Oliver had our Ollie, we stayed in Linden at the Commodore Hotel. It is an historic building on the main drag. The room/bldg needs some love but was clean. The Commodore allows pets & a continental breakfast is included. The Meriwether Lewis campground was still closed.
  4. It's the middle of the night & Fido needs to go out. You want to be able to grab a flashlight without the need to turn on a light. This Command Broom Holder is the answer. Plus, it stays put when rolling down the road. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G1Y42H0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_-YJJFb4833X8E
  5. And, the greatest invention since the wheel (almost), REUSABLE ZIP TIES! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XJC8L37/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fab_Jt6EFbWBXS8Z6
  6. Oliver owes us. 😁
  7. Three owners here for service & one potential buyer enjoying a beautiful evening in the Oliver parking lot.
  8. Aha! Thank you both. I was clicking on my name. BTW, having a wonderful time at the non-Rally & wish you were here!
  9. Can signatures only be updated via a pc? I can't find the edit signature option on my account page on my android phone. Thx! Chris
  10. Well darn, I'm just now reading this ...
  11. We tried that boondocking in Colorado. The darn thing turned on & off all night long but I never saw anything. Maybe it worked but I couldn't sleep & didn't put it out anymore. 🙈 Another good place to put it is behind your steps. Handy if you leave during the day & return after dark but failed to turn on courtesy lights. The key is to remember it when you leave. We only have two now. Oops.
  12. Great topic! We love these little motion detection lights. No need to turn on a light when you get up in middle of night. You get three for $29. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002FCGI8Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
  13. Mary Rutherford posted this on Facebook an hour ago: Good evening everyone. I was wondering if anyone would like to meet 9:30 am tomorrow morning at the buckeye pavilion. Bring your coffee and chair’s for a little southern Oliver hospitality. Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow.
  14. We're in F57 F54 = Mike & Krunch F62 = Susie & John DeLozier
  15. Enjoy your time at the beach; however, it's just not the same without you at Lake Guntersville. Duke & Chris
  16. Hi Lexi, thank you to you & Oliver! As a quasi event planner in a previous life, I learned to capitalize on someone else's legwork. My suggestion is to find out where other RV groups hold their rallies & go from there. We're heading west next year & hope we can work this into our itinerary!!! Chris
  17. The Chadwells, #292, site F-54 (I think) will be there Wednesday. We are looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone!
  18. Unfortunately, it was simply a one-nighter on our way to Wichita to visit family
  19. We keep the dogs' waterbowl in the shower.
  20. What? I have no idea what that means. Is your laptop toast? Thank goodness you and your home are okay. BTW, we have those extinguishers. Fortunately, haven't needed to use them.
  21. Whisky won. We're rendezvousing with my brother who is a Jack D drinker, Duke likes Dickel, & I don't drink either unless it's ruined with Coke. If anyone is interested, attached is a blip from the Whiskey Trail website that we plan to follow & the State Park where we plan to stay. Please join us!!!
  22. After the Rally, we're thinking about heading north to do either the Whisky or Bourbon Trail. Any recommendations? These folks stayed at My Kentucky Home State Park.
  23. A moonshine distillery sounds like a hoot! Where was it? We have thoroughly enjoyed our HH membership. Honey farm, cheese farm, golf course & many wineries & breweries. We don't necessarily come out ahead when we stay at the latter two.
  24. Just mentioned this post to Duke & the fact that I've never spent any time there & his response was, "you'd love it, there are all kinds of breweries there." 🤔
  25. Aha! Canine wanderlust. That explains why the Doods are so blue, & us too.
