  1. You can adjust it in the xantrex app.
  2. If anyone is considering switching to lithium I highly recommend checking out Epoch batteries. I have 48 volt ones installed in my golf cart but they also make 12 volt batteries for Rv applications. Will prowse just did a review on their 460ah battery on his YouTube channel. It would fit perfectly in the battery tray. They also have a holiday sale right now so you can get the above battery for about $1700 which is a steal for that amount of power. Epoch has other sizes as well. The lithionics are nice batteries but there are much cheaper options with the same quality. FYI… John https://www.epochbatteries.com
  3. As many have said the real cost is going to be the labor from Oliver to do the different changes. I have the 390 AH lithium package simply because they were switching from the lifeblue to lithionics and I got the Lithionics at the old price. ($500 cheaper). The Lithionics are excellent batteries but there are many cheaper options that would work just as well. If considering changing the batteries I would also look at updating the wiring and adding a solar controller or sizing a new one one large enough for an external panel setup. Olivers factory wiring job under the streetside bed leaves much to be desired. Regarding the Truma upgrade I would consider looking at the Houghton that many of us have installed. It is just as quiet as the Truma but also includes a heat pump function (saves propane) that will keep you warm down to about 30 degrees. I was the one that got the quote for $5200 to change out the refrigerator. Way to expensive for me to consider so I will do it myself when the time comes. As always, upgrades depend on your ability, your checkbook or both!! 😂 John
  4. Out of curiosity I submitted a ticket requesting a price to swap out my Norcold with the current Isotherm fridge. $5200!!!!!!! I guess I will be doing it myself when the time comes. 😂
  5. You as well. Always fun talking to people who like to modify stuff and figure it out. 😎 The plant travels in the truck with us. The plants rank slightly below the dog which ranks above me. Not sure if I’m ahead of the plants.😂😂
  6. Oh yeah. Already did the larger table top out of walnut.
  7. Thanks! I do a little bit of woodworking so this was a piece of scrap mahogany I had sitting in a pile. It really makes coffee in bed easier. I covered the surface with some liner I use for tool drawers so the cups don’t slide around. 😀
  8. Here’s a quick little modification for those who don’t use the TV. I took ours out and repurposed the fold down mount by adding a small shelf to hold our coffee in the morning.
  9. I would suggest you go check out this YouTube channel. You will find detailed instructions on every part of a mobile electrical system. He also has wiring diagrams that you can follow. You are messing with large amount of electricity so you need to understand all aspects. Your inverter will require 4/0 cable. https://youtube.com/@EXPLORISTlife John
  10. OK, so on my 2021 the ones between the wheels were 6mm and the outside ones were 1/4. Sure would be nice if they lined up where you wanted when they bottomed out. 🤷‍♂️
  11. I am going to change out the grease zerks for 45 degree fittings. What size are the fittings and are they all the same size? thanks, John
  12. So my kitchen faucet has become loose. Has anyone tightened this particular one. I don’t want to disassemble more than I have to. Thanks, John
  13. Truma says that a 3000 watt generator is required to run the Aventa unit. A 20 amp outlet would not be sufficient.
  14. Thanks guys, I’ll check the manual. 👍🏻
  15. Where do I need to start to adjust this correctly. Do I need to adjust the positions of where the arms attach to the outer rail or is this caused by something else? I want to have an idea before I start messing with it. Thanks, John
  16. For my portable setup I installed a separate victron 100/50 under the street side bed that connects to the zamp solar port. This setup allows you to have your panels in series so you can send low amp/high volt current over a longer distance. I have 6 100 watts panels that I can send to this port in a series/parallel configuration and be well within the limitations of the side port(20 amps) all while using relatively cheap landscape wire. John
  17. The FAA recently changed the term for NOTAMS from "Notice to airmen" to "Notice to air missions"
  18. I finally got this project done. I ended up ordering a mattress from Tochta with dimensions of 78x75x10. When I put the mattress in the trailer and unpackaged it the actual dimensions we 78x77 which was too long. There was zero room around the top and bottom of the mattress. I called Tochta and they asked me to send pictures of the measurements. They got back to me and offered to give me $400 back if this mattress would work or to just have me donate this one and they would send me a new one. I chose a new one with dimensions of 76x74x10. It arrived less than a week later and fits perfectly. Mattress is very comfortable and Tochta's customer service is top notch! John
  19. You can also go into the xantrax app and turn the charger ignition control to "auto on" which will effectively disable the charger. Doing this is also good for the health of your lithium batteries as they really don't like to sit on a float charge for extended periods. John
  20. Has anyone modified their Ollie from the Twin bed to a king size bed. We though the twins would work for us but we just don't like them. From what I see removing the nightstand is just 4 bolts and some caulk. The bed rails appear to be riveted as seen I the picture below. Would the best approach be just drilling out the rivets? I don't see anything below them that I would need to be concerned about. Any experience would be appreciated. John
  21. Just did my 2021 today and found the exact situation as John when I opened them up. John
  22. Has anyone ended up ordering a King mattress from Tochta? We are going to convert from the twins to a King and this seems like the best option. What dimensions did you go with? John
