  1. What is the current firmware version. john
  2. Does anyone with a newer Trailer know if Oliver has switched over to brass PEX fittings or are they still using the plastic ones? I'm starting to assemble a repair kit and if they are brass they probably aren't going to break. Thanks John
  3. What was the final outcome of this incident? John
  4. Thanks topgun. Forgot I had to take into account that the ball is 3 inches high. ๐Ÿ˜
  5. Pickup time is fast approaching and I need to get a hitch for the Ollie. The service department is going to swap to the 2 5/16 coupler. I am towing with a 2021 GMC 2500 AT4. Unloaded is 23 inches to the top of the receiver. I put 550 lbs worth of people on the tailgate the other day and it dropped a hair over and inch. I would prefer to not get an adjustable hitch to avoid any rattling and the Ollie is really all that I will tow. I am thinking a receiver with a 2 inch rise would put me in the ballpark after adding gear and extras to the truckbed. What do the experts out there think? Thanks, John
  6. Awesome. Keep us posted. John
  7. Hey Mike, Could you post the checklist you created of problems to look for. Thanks, John
  8. That sounds like a really good price considering Oliver charges $11000 for just those batteries and the 3000 watt inverter. What was the individual cost for the batteries? I have a delivery date in Nov and was considering the lithium pro package. I was originally just going to do it myself since I was not thrilled with the Lifeblue batteries. I now understand that Oliver is exclusively installing Lithonics with I assume I will get at the 2021 model price of $8999 which is a pretty good deal when those batteries are included. I would like the larger batteries that you have installed but the factory price is quite a bit high for what you get compared to the lithium pro package. Do I understand correctly that you purchased the batteries and other equipment from Oliver since lithonics doesn't sell to consumers? As a side topic has anyone replaced the generic lock on the battery tray with something a little more secure? Having thousands of dollars worth of batteries with a generic lock leaves me a little apprehensive. John
  9. https://www.homedepot.com/p/TruFuel-50-1-Pre-Oil-Mix-6525606/205913129? I have a relatively small yard and have always used this. It is a little more expensive but I use less than 2 gallons per season so it is worth it. Never had an issue starting any trimmer or blower. (obviously not for a 4 cycle generator)
  10. It does sound nice to have all that power but like John said it is really unbalanced. Rough math says it would take around 26-30 hours to charge from zero with 340 watts. You can only use as much energy as your panels provide or you will eventually end up empty.... John
  11. Not Sure about the Elite I but I confirmed today that all Elite II trailers that select lithium are have the Lithonics installed. I guess Lifeblue is no longer being used. John
  12. Can anyone confirm if Oliver is installing the Newer Xantrex remote? New one is the top photo. John
  13. Thanks for the pic! John
  14. Until it breaks. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  15. Could you post a picture of your batteries. Specifically the label on the battery.
  16. Not sure about all brands but my 2021 GMC came with 4 tire sensors to install in your trailer tires. The sticker showed it as a $50 option. These sensors send info to the OEM screen when you have the trailer connected. Not sure when this feature became available but would be worth checking to see if you have a similar option on your vehicles. John
  17. Yes I am aware. Unfortunately it is quite difficult to deal with those 4 westernmost states. Georgia has reciprocity with most places I will be going but I will have to find a solution to deal with CA,OR,WA and NV. John
  18. The camera plug has 2 o-rings on it so it should be water tight.
  19. Thatโ€™s what Glocks are for. ๐Ÿ˜‰. Seriously though I will have another camera setup for security. Havenโ€™t gotten that far yet. John
  20. The camera gets its power from the truck not from the trailer. The pictures I posted above show the individual camera ports above the 7 pin connector. John
  21. I just went through this process and have decided to forgo the Oliver installed camera. The GMC camera that integrates into the factory display offers a larger screen at less than half the price. The camera system on the GMC is hands down the best available at the present time. John
  22. Another good pour over coffee maker. Makes enough to take on the drive with you and keeps it hot! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0080J2N8A?ref=exp_keepyourdaydream_dp_vv_d
  23. You should seriously put a package of the those parts together, mass produce them and sell them. I would be first in line to buy one!!! John
