  1. I think the Facebook page is perferred as you are then dealing with the owner themselves and not a sales firm.

You can also check out the new Oliver Sales and Service companies that have been brought on board. You can find them listed on the OTT web page.

    Good luck.

  2. Welcome:

I agree with Mike and topgun2 suggestions.

If you have never owned a RV, it is a good idea to rent (even a different brand) RV to make sure camping is for you.

Definately go to the factory to see the Ollies and to tour the factory to see how they are built.

Make sure your tow vehicle is appropiate to haul the Elite II.

  3. Update after the Mini-Rally:

The Mini-Rally was held in Boothbay Maine from June 3 to June 9, 2024. 38 Oliver Trailers were registered to attend. The first 3 days were sunny warm weather. The other 4 days was mostly cloudy and a few occasional showers that quickly dried up each day. It was a fun event with many returning Oliver Owner's from last year sharing their experiences.

Attached is some picture highlights of the event:

  4. @MikeKaren

    FYI

Our home GE microwave-convention oven stopped working after using the convention oven portion a number of times.

The unit was repaired by a appliance repair person who told us to only use microwave portion as the unit is not well designed for the heat of the convention oven.

We have a stove with a convection oven and use that as the heat does not bother it.

  5. @Nan

You could contact Oliver service and ask what they would charge to send you their shower track and theri curtain.

We like the Oliver track as it covers 3 sides of the shower area including across the doorway. We leave the door open during a shower as the shower curtain covers the doorway.

  6.

I thought that when the Ollie starts moving the controls will sense the movement and run a diagnostic check of all sensors.

Since I have not installed my extra sensor on the spare at this point, I am only guessing that the spare will the checked?

    UPDATE

    @Geronimo John:

I googled if a spare tire with a sensor on it would register the tire pressure in the spare and the answer in a number of google answers was that it would register.

Can anyone that has a sensor on their spare confirm this?

Sorry to change the path of this post, but I wanted to clarify this.

  7. 1. On the bottom surface of the hatch cover over where the pump is, there should be a picture showing the valve configuations for the different uses. The pictures should also be in your Owner's manual

    2. Highly unlikely. If I was you, I would check to see if all the plumbing connections are tight with no leaks and none are sucking in air.

    3. Should not be a problem. All Oliver's are like that.

I was having the same problem signing into the Rewards Section. When I tired to log in I got a "Bad Request" page.

Take a look at THIS thread.  A list of all the annual services can be found here along with the approximate price.  The specific post is about 6 down from the top.

    Bill

But will the new independent service locations offer the same annual maiintenance program that OTT offered?

Or put another way, will the independents even be told and trained of what OTT offered for the annual maintenance?

  10. @ScubaRx and @SeaDawg. Since you are moderators, you may know more about the end of service at the factory then us other owners.

Has OTT explained to you how OTT be training the  local dealer's service personne and when?

Will OTT explain the services that they offered at the factory during their annual maintenance services?
