  1. Seems there have been some issues posting and the quote button not working. I have found the culprit and it should all be working again. Let me know if you have any issues.
  2. And if you haven't already and you are interested being a part of the Referral Program, edit your profile and add your trailer details and opt-in to the Referral Program. This will place an icon on the See An Ollie map and potential owners can request to view your trailer. Be sure to add you city, state and phone number, along with the info about your Ollie. Welcome to the family!
  3. Give the sales office a call again. I know the ladies that handle the VIN's just issued several yesterday and I did call her to see if yours was. She said Jason at the Sales Office should have it now.
  4. Also... If you have purchased a used Oliver and haven't already contact our Sales Office, please call or contact them through the website so they can update our records. They will need your info, along with the prior owner's name and vin/hull of your unit. If you wish to join the referral program, they will need your information.
  5. The new See An Ollie map is now live. For owners who wish to opt-in or out of the referral program, simply edit your profile. To opt-in, under the "Do you own an Oliver Travel Trailer, other travel trailer or none?"... select "I own an Oliver Travel Trailer" and fill in the information about your trailer. Next, under the "Enable my info for Referral Program Map?"... select "Yes, I am willing to show my travel trailer to potential customers" and make sure to fill out the Phone, City, State and Country below (once you have selected Yes). Your phone number here is very important so the sales office can call you to confirm you have received the referral from the website. Once you update your profile, this will populate an icon on the map. Potential customers can click on the map icons and request to view your trailers. A notification email will be sent to the Oliver owner with the person's contact information so the owner can call or email the perspective buyer and schedule a field visit. If you wish for the sales office to communicate with the person requesting to view your trailer, let the sales office know and they can make the calls for you. A copy of the request will automatically be sent to the sales office and they will follow up with the parties to confirm arrangements have been made. If you move or will be away from home, you can either remove the icon from the map by selecting "No, I do not want to show my travel trailer to potential customers" or you can change the location of the icon on the map by changing the City, State (and Country if need be) in the Referral section of your profile. Note: There are two location sections in your profile. The one labeled Location is so you can put whatever you want to display in your public profile. The City, State and Country in the Referral section is just used for the map and not displayed in your public profile.
  6. Internet Explorer is a web developer's worst nightmare... haha. I will test in IE and see if I can figure out what is going on.
  7. It may be a good idea for whoever shows their Oliver to fill out the Referral cards and drop them into the mail (postage paid by us). If not, the person who viewed it, might throw it away or misplace it and we could miss capturing your referral. With the new map feature, you will have their info when they request the visit online and we will already have record of the request. We know how important field visits are coming from our owners since we don't have dealerships and want to make sure we reward those who help us. The sales office tries to welcome new owners on Facebook... so keep an eye out there for people you've shown your unit to and don't be afraid to follow up with the sales office.
  8. Bill, Give it another try... I believe I found the issue.
  9. Also... if you have ordered your trailer but waiting on a pickup date, please stay opted out (No, I do not want to show my travel trailer to potential customers) until you have either picked yours up or when it is getting close to your delivery date.
  10. For those of you that own an Oliver, you've probably heard of our referral program. Since we don't have dealerships scattered across the nation, we offer our owners an incentive to be willing to show their Oliver to potential new customers. If you are an owner and don't know about our referral program, call the sales office for details. I am almost done with a new "See An Ollie" map feature. What the new map will do is populate a map icon (blue for Elite owners and red for Elite II owners) on the city and state where you are located. If you are an Oliver owner, you can now opt-in or out of the referral program at anytime in your profile. To opt-in or out of the referral program, go to your profile and click the gear on the right below the banner image and select edit profile. Next, go to "My RV or Travel Trailer" section. If you own an Oliver you can select the "I own an Oliver Travel Trailer" and proceed to select your Year, Model and Floor Plan. To opt-in to the referral program, select "Yes, I am willing to show my travel trailer to potential customers" and add your contact information. It is important to add the city and state where you are located in this section for it to populate the coordinates for the icon on the map. Once you have enable this feature, when potential customers want to view your trailer, they will click on the map icon to view the basic info about your trailer. They can then fill out a form with their contact information, requesting the field visit. When they submit the form, you will receive an email from the website with their contact info. We at Oliver will also be notified. When you receive the email, you can then contact the person and arrange a time and date for them to view it. Someone from the sales office will contact you to follow up and make sure you have receive the notification email. Your name and number will not be displayed publicly or shared with anyone. Of course, when you contact the person requesting a field visit, you will be sharing that information (phone or email) yourself. If you do not wish to contact people requesting a field visit directly, contact the sales office and they will handle the communication for you. At anytime, you can change your location (if you are away from home) or turn off your map icon by updating your profile and selecting "No, I do not want to show my travel trailer to potential customers." I will be going live with the new map feature next week. In the mean time, if you are an owner and wish to be included on the referral map once it is live, please edit your profile appropriately at anytime.
  11. I "believe" I have the issue resolved with updating profiles. Can some of you test and let me know?

  13. It's a caching issue. We use a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to speed up the site and it has help in that aspect, but it is causing issues with profiles and posting. I am working on tweaking the settings so that when a user updates their profile or posts a topic, the cache is cleared from the CDN.
  14. The 17 minutes prior should be the time I posted... So it's showing that portion, just delaying the actual post probably due to caching. I'll try to tweak the setting to get it to update appropriately.
  15. Hopefully it is much faster. Let me know if anyone has issues with posts or replies not being displayed instantly. We are using a CDN that caches the site, but may delay post or replies on topics in the Forums. If that is the case, I'll have to tweak the setting somewhat for the cache to update appropriately.
  16. If there is something that any of you think will make the Forum more user friendly, just PM me. I always have a lot of work to do for all the Oliver companies and cannot stay on the Forums much, but if there is any kind of issues I can take time to fix them. I have installed a script that will automatically open external links in a new tab, so there is no need to do anything. Hope this helps.
  17. I can assure you the owners wouldn't find these issues acceptable. I will be passing the info on. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
  18. Some of you that had accounts at OliverForums.com may have issues logging-in to the new forum site if your username contained the "&" symbol. If you run across this issue and cannot get logged-in, send me a message along with your email and username through our Contact Us page and I'll work to get the problem resolved through the database.
  19. Hi John. Not sure what's going on here... But you're signed in to be able to post on here. If you are still logged in, just go to your profile and click the gear icon to go change your password to whatever you choose. If you are logged out already, just go to the login page and click the forgot password link and it will send you an email to change it. If you still have issues, let me know.
  20. HGTV is casting for people to appear on their Season 2 series TV show called Going RV. For new Oliver owners interested in applying, go to the link below for more information. If anyone needs help with filing out the buying experience, please let us know. http://www.hgtv.com/shows/be-on-hgtv/have-you-recently-purchased-a-new-or-slightly-used-rv
  21. Nancy, It does not allow for editing by members after 24 hours. If you would like me to edit, send me a Private Message of what changes you'd like me to make.
  22. I'm not sure which Contoure model, but I do know it's not a convection unit. The cabinet isn't big enough for one currently. I believe they said they might look into seeing if it's possible to make the cabinet deeper to fit in the future models. Maybe 2018 models if it's even possible.
  23. John... Ha! It was driving me nuts too! Finding time to tackle things sometimes is a task in itself.
  24. Most of you have noticed the navigation icons on the right now. I find them especially helpful on a mobile device. I've updated them this morning... Lock icon = login /logout screen. If you're logged in, there is also a link to your profile here. F icon = Forums. This is actually a Foursquare icon, but thought it would be the best fit to recognized a quick link to the forums. Comment icon = view recent topics Feed icon = view activity wall People icon = view/search members Facebook icon = you can share whatever page you are on to facebook Twitter icon = you can share on twitter Arrow up = takes you to the top of the page For now, I probably won't be adding any more since on a mobile it would be too many to fit most screens
