I know we will have questions. I've got a couple already that I'm ready to email to Anita. She said it's normal, ask away! I noticed on the Oliver Facebook page that a couple trailers have the hull number on the back under the Oliver light (sort of like the WBCCI number you see on some Airstreams). Seems like that might an interesting identification to add.

Seems that most folks use and like the Prodigy brake controllers, either P2 or P3. Does anyone have any experience with Hopkins controllers? Looks like there might be a little more installation flexibility with the Hopkins, just haven't read many testimonials on performance. My Tacoma has the towing package and I've located the harness so there should be no issues with whichever one I get.

We just got back from a week in Tennessee and a very enjoyable factory visit. Anita and Karen were great, answered all our questions and gave a great tour all with warm hospitality. Felt like family. We ordered a big Ollie, planned delivery for May to fit our work/retirement schedule. So now the waiting begins!

Great review! I'm interested in your towing experience with your Tacoma. I have the same model Tacoma and we are looking at the same trailer. I was planning on getting the Anderson hitch.

1986 911 is classic! My son also has a 2003 996. Yesterday we picked up a 2016 Audi S3 that we ordered in the spring. Our 5th Audi, traded in the 9 year old A4 Avant. We are Thompson's too, must be something there. We are scheduled for a factory visit October 12th. Not sure what the timeline will be after that, probably sometime in the Spring.

My son drives a Toureg TDI. It's a solid, comfortable SUV. He has a long commute so the miles are adding up fast - no reliability issues. He's very happy with it.

This is good to know. Sounds like the Atwood is both quiet and efficient.

Good info here. I have a 2012 Tacoma w/tow package that I plan to use to pull the big Oliver. It just went over 75K miles so it is almost broken in! We are going to the factory the second week in October.

Steve, from what I saw online it looked like Oliver did not cut any corners. We were looking at Airstreams - I was surprised the number of "quality issues" new owners had. After looking at Ron's loooong video and Steve's trailer in person, we were sold on the quality. I've got a quote for what we want and hope to finalize on a trip to Tennessee in a few months. Thanks for the welcome. Pete, we actually live in Fair Oaks Ranch, too. Nobody knows were that is, so we sometimes say Boerne. That usually isn't much better, so then we leap to San Antonio! Looks like there might be two Oliver's in our little town. Would love to see your trailer whenever you come back. We are having more rain this week, things are sure green. Mike

Howdy, we're Mike and Carol from Boerne, TX. We are really interested in the Elite II and have been working with Anita and Alicia at the factory. Hope to make a trip to Tennessee in September. There was a fiberglass rally in Bandera in April and we got a great tour of Steve Crider's Oliver. That pretty much sealed the deal. Glad to be here!
