I ended up covering the CO Detector with saran wrap and tape. Went 24 hours without a beep. Asked the manager at our storage place to listen for beeping. Couldn't find the fuse, well I could a black fuse holder, but wasn't completely sure if it was for CO Detector, so used Saran Wrap. This whole thing is very strange as I was using the same TV antifreeze from Ace Hardware that I used in 2022 and 2023.

Where is the fuse for the CO Detector? Fuse box? In the detector? If in the detector how do you get to it? Even with everything covered and a fan on the floor, it was going off this morning. Leaving to take it to storage in a couple of hours.

We use two 1-gallon containers of DampRid, and 2-packets of Eva-Dry Charcoal packets in the bathroom and closet when trailer is stored. We have a plug in dehumidifier and use Eva-Dry charcoal packets, and a rechargeable dehumidifier when traveling.

Wonder if you could take saran wrap and just cover it?
-
I used saran wrap to cover the toilet bowl, kitchen drain, and shower drain. I weighed a piece of rubber over the saran wrap. Drain plug in bathroom sink Also covered the toilet with a baking soda scented garbage bags. Small fan blowing. However tomorrow we take the trailer to storage, a one hour drive, so I would hate to get a call from the manager and have another 2 hour round trip🙃

Well, this isn't funny anymore🙃. Winterized 3 days ago, anti-freeze poured in both sink traps, floor drain with back flush closed, and toilet. Left window open 2"-3" and no issues. Rain forecast so I closed the window. We were gone 3 hours and when we returned it was going off. Had to place a small USB fan in front of the detector. Took 5 minutes to get the green light. Going to try the wrap. This sucks.

Well, I winterized this morning, and then the CO Detector went off 3 times. Most of the RV antifreeze I used was from last year and I opened a new one that was different, bought from same Ace Hardware. I left a window open. Very strange. First 2 times no issues.

Replacw Xantrex Inverter/Charger DC Breaker
John Dorrer replied to Gliddenwoods's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Under warranty, and Oliver sent me a replacement. I may have to replace it again. Won't know until I take it into Oliver in February -
I can't find anything on this topic on the Forum. I have tried window seal, window gasket, window seal gasket, etc Our gasket has shrunk close to an inch at the top. Some have replaced it in black. Who is the source for white or black gasket? What is the product #?

Our frame cracked in 2-3 corners and then again with the second and 3rd replacement, this even after Oliver shores things up. Not on my worry list. At some point I will dive in deeper.

Replacw Xantrex Inverter/Charger DC Breaker
John Dorrer replied to Gliddenwoods's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
Yes, on our 2022. Solar off first, then inverter breaker, followed by the batteries. Reverse to turn back on. -
Not happened to us, so now that I have said that wait until 11/1 when I winterize and watch it happen. RV Anti-freeze is non-toxic, and you would think it wouldn't cause the CO sector to go off, but apparently it has. Keep us posted. Very strange.

Welcome from Hull #1045, Jolli Olli. Happy Camping.

High Risk Low Reward. It takes 10-15 to winterize and maybe 10 minutes to dewinterize. You can carry a couple of small jugs of water and RV Anti-freeze to use in the toilet. We live in Indianapolis and can expect 0° - 20° for extended periods. We get South where it might get to 35° at night and dewinterize. We keep our Truma Aqua-Go closed and the filter stored until we are in wark weather My question is why would you even risk doing what you have posted. When pipes in your Oliver freeze and crack, many times it is in hard to get to places, resulting in added expense and major stress. It simply isn't worth the risk, when it only takes 10 minutes to dewinterize.

Welcome Jason B. Congrats and best of luck.

Audi Q7 without air suspension as tow vehicle for Elite II?
John Dorrer replied to Emerson's topic in General Discussion
Another Owner had an Audi 7 and destroyed their rear tires. The had rear sag. Not a good choice for a tow vehicle. -
This is so sad. Having traveled this whole area at this time last year, hits home. Our prayers for all affected. Thanks for this post and sharing.

Xantrex Inverter 3000. 20 error code
John Dorrer replied to John Dorrer's topic in General Discussion
I think I hit the perfect storm. Drawing the batteries down by running the AC off the inverter and then plugging the trailer onto 30amp to recharge the batteries, all in 85°+ heat. The inverter was hot and the fan was constantly running, tripped the breaker. All seems to be back to normal. -

Is there an advantage to lowering the Xantrex Freedom 3000 charge current from 150 down to 100? -
Xantrex Inverter 3000. 20 error code
John Dorrer replied to John Dorrer's topic in General Discussion
Thank you -
I brought the trailer home to prep for our trip. I decided to run the Dometic AC off the inverter to draw the batteries down to 45-50% per Lithonics, and I wanted to see how long I could run the AC With the batteries around 45%, I shut the AC off, turned off the remote inverter I plugged into 30amp and when I went back into the trailer 5 minutes later I noticed the green light at the top right of the remote wasn't on. The microwave light is on. The inverter fan has been cycling on and off and I noticed the screen on the inverter under the street side was on, which it shouldn't be on. The remote was flashing a 20 error code. Need help. Thanks
