I think you made a good decision. I would wait for the 2023 as well just for the quieter AC alone, that will be worth it. Several other upgrades look pretty enticing as well. Looking forward to your first impressions posts next year.

Hello and welcome to the forum! I agree with the others to see a Elite II before your final decision. We previously had an Airstream Nest but found it was way too small for any extended trips and the climb over bed situation got old real fast! We love the twin beds and so much more storage in the E2. Towing with the dual axle is so nice and what a difference from our Nest in backing it up (smaller definitely wasn’t easier)! We too fell in love with fiberglass campers and considered an Escape but the Oliver quality and customer service just can’t be beat! Whichever you decide you will love your Oliver!❤️

We don’t use electric blankets, we use good goose down comforters and we have a Vornado space heater that really takes the chill off. I’m not sure what mattresses you have but if you have the foam mattresses I suggest checking with the manufacturer on using a electric blanket on memory foam, there are some that do not recommend it depending on what type of foam they use.

Hi Daniel, I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Yes, the price has gone up but it’s gone up on everything, everywhere. A lot of the cost increase is for materials. You may consider buying used, that will knock down the price as opposed to buying new. Interior: We went from an Airstream to the Oliver and while I do miss the wide expansive windows in the AS we find the Oliver quite comfortable for just my husband and I. Give Oliver a call and they can tell you where the closest Oliver is near you that you can go take a look at. If possible schedule a tour of the factory. Storing-We are lucky in that we can store our Ollie at home but it is a justifiable concern if you need to find a facility to store it. I know many store at inside/outside storage facilities but it is costly. Whatever you decide, take your time and you will find the perfect fit for you.

I really don’t like that I can’t see out the door window when the door is shut. Does anyone that has changed their frosted window to clear have a recommendation/link to the specific clear glass/frame that fits the Oliver door?

We close everything, vents and windows.
