Hoping for the new owners they will be awning style windows. The sliding windows in our 2023 is probably my biggest pet peeve, and I will seriously consider switching them out!

John, do you have a link or part# for the new fuse that you bought? -
Actually it was upgraded to 150lbs a few years ago.

A/C not visible on Truma CP Plus screen (works w/ remote)
rich.dev replied to T-Oliver's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
This is what mine looks like, we’re not on shore power and inverter on. IMG_1168.mov -
Yah I saw that video, mine is a 2023 and the outside caulking around the windows, Oliver sign and external lights above the windows are still good. Yes my 2023 has the wire/mesh inserts, I was covering the fresh water and AC drain tubes with copper steel wool, so I figured while I’m down there I might as well do the scuppers as well. We did see some moisture/condensation on the inside of the windows, but not much. I thought maybe because the windows are dual pane, ie better insulation, while the inner frame of the windows are metal and in between the hulls so more potential for condensation on them like in my picture, but I can be wrong! Anyway, I did add some butyl tape and silicone around the inner window frames so time will tell. I’m also thinking of spraying some foam type insulation around the inner window frames. Thoughts on that?

If you’re not connected to shore power the AC will not show up on the cp plus screen unless you turn the inverter on, with the inverter on it will show the “heater” and “AC” option. -
2" 1UP hitch post doesn't fit 2" Oliver bike receiver 😵
rich.dev replied to GlacierGirl's topic in General Discussion
@GlacierGirl I believe the 2” Oliver receiver was not stock on your 2021 LEII, Oliver switched to the 2” receiver late 2024 models, previous to that it was a 1.25 or 1.5” I think. Do you have an after market receiver? Like @Jason Foster said, maybe post some pictures. -
Sounds like the issue is with customs in the US, did you reach out to them?

Well since you asked 😜, we have experienced what I believe to be inner hull condensation just recently! We are moochdocking in a location where it started raining then snowed, and then temps dropped significantly. The next day we experienced water dripping from below all our windows. I know from reading post on this forum that a roof leak, rear Oliver sign or exterior lights above the windows can let water run down inside the air gap between the inner and outer hulls and appear as a window leak. However, all our windows leaked, and I couldn’t find any leaks on the roof, rear Oliver sign and external lights above the windows, so I’m fairly certain that under the right circumstances (like what we experienced) condensation between the hulls can do the same thing. I removed the inside window trim and noticed small water drops on top of the metal window frame that I suspect was caused by condensation. I have to add that I filled the scupper holes with copper steel wool to deter pests/rodents from gaining entrance. I now wonder if that affected the airflow between hulls causing condensation on the metal window frames?

Wow cheaper than our 2023, and we have less options! Platinum package only $5300, we paid $15900 in 2023! -

My how-to video for cleaning the weep holes and tracks
rich.dev replied to Wayfinder's topic in Mechanical & Technical Tips
John, have you figured out how to remove/install the side window window black tracks with the felt rubbing strips? My windows are the same as yours, I cleaned the rear window but like you and @RoadKingsofGA I couldn't remove the side window black tracks with the felt strips! -
Congrats on the new Outdoors RV, is it the 19MKS? Happy travels, and let us know all the good and bad vs Oliver please!

They downsized from a huge class A and boondock pretty much 100%, I guess that’s why the large battery/solar system. I have watched a bunch of videos from MYT solar, he’s really good and does a quality job. Must say, I know it’s personal preference but I think this 19MKS has probably the best layout for such a small travel trailer. Outdoors RV make a really good product, if I knew about it before we bought the Ollie it would’ve been a very strong contender. Love the large kitchen counter top, large tanks, dry bath, hydraulic stabilizers and the 2 la-Z-Boy style seats, just not keen on the slide out and all the wood!

X2.. @Toby look at the creekside 19 MKS titanium!

I have the FITCAMX, it’s nicely integrated into my Silverado’s rear view mirror housing, and plug and play installation with the power wire hidden and connected to the rear view mirror wiring, and hidden inside the mirror housing.

That’s weird, maybe an issue with the compressor? Our isotherm works great. Have you always had this issue with it?

Absolutely, they treat their customers like family!

I just wanted to share the absolute amazing experience we had with David and Kristine Hess, Jeff and other team members at Sea Biscuit Metal Designs, Johnson City Tennessee. We had the Oliver rear basket installed today. What great service! David, Kristine and Jeff greeted me, and Jeff got right to work on the installation. The rear basket is extremely well crafted, made with high grade materials and expert craftsmanship. An awesome addition to the Oliver!! For those who do not have the Oliver OEM rear bumper receiver option (like us), no problem as Sea Biscuit will provide the hardware necessary to mount the rear basket. Now what happened next is service I have never experienced before! Long story short, after all the hugs from Kristine and David, (yes they love meeting and hanging out with their customers!) I hooked up the trailer, did all my checks, put the tv in drive and as I slowly took off I felt some resistance. Must be the emergency brake I thought, well, turned out I forgot to raise the tongue jack! Yes, I know, I guess I was just so impressed and excited about the new basket, and the excellent service that I forgot about the jack! I usually use 6”x6” blocks on all the jacks for 2 reasons, to avoid extending the jacks too much, and secondly for this exact reason, ie if for whatever stupid reason I forget to raise the jacks they will just slide of the blocks. Needless to say, the tongue jack inside shaft was bent backwards approximately 45° and buckled. Anyway, that’s when David, Jeff and team jumped in, Dave cut off approx. 4” where the shaft was bent/buckled, aligned the 2 straight pieces then welded them back together. This was shortly before noon, so the team worked into their lunch hour and David had to push out another appointment! I obviously offered compensation, but David refused! I cannot express my gratitude enough to David, Jeff and team! Sea Biscuit is a great company and David, Kristine and their crew are awesome people!!! Thank you so much again!

Gary, also touch base with John@jd1923 , he installed 2 Epoch batteries not too long ago.

Inexpensive Helpful Modifications
rich.dev replied to Wandering Sagebrush's topic in Ollie Modifications
Yes love these Hasko vacuum suction cups, we also have a dozen or so all over inside the trailer, including below the street side bed for shoes…wife’s idea! -
lol….ok, so I like the size of the mini, but I think even if it was available I still would’ve gone with the G3. I don’t like the fact that the router is inside the mini dish, yes I know it’s weather proof, and I have a 3rd party router anyway, but just the thought of the dish with built in router put me off a little bit. It’s probably not an issue at all, just me being silly! 🤪

3500 pound versus 5200 pound axles on a LE2
rich.dev replied to John and Debbie's topic in General Discussion
Yup, I just saw a previous post by @John and Debbie stating he saw the 3500lbs on the label and assumed that was for the axle.
