BlueHighways
One of my under cabinet touch led lights comes on but is dim. Anyone else had this experience? All the other lights (touch or switch) work properly. Thanks! Headed to Florida for a few weeks and found this while packing. It’s certainly not going to keep us from finding warmer weather! Moderator+ ScubaRx Posted January 29, 2022 Moderator+ Share Posted January 29, 2022 It sounds like some of the LED's the that light's cluster have gone out. Unless you can see where they've become un-soldered you'll need to replace that light. 2 Steve, Tali and our dog Rocky plus our beloved dogs Storm, Lucy, Maggie and Reacher (all waiting at the Rainbow Bridge) 2008 Legacy Elite I - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #026 | 2014 Legacy Elite II - Outlaw Oliver, Hull #050 | 2022 Silverado High Country 3500HD SRW Diesel 4x4
Trainman
I guess it's like some of the street signal lights you see, the LED pattern is disrupted and the light from them looks really funny or a weird pattern. I have a flashlight that is like that and the light from it is not too bright, now where is the trashcan. 2019 RAM 1500, 5.7 Hemi, 4X4, Crew Cab, 5'7" bed, Towing Package, 3.92 Gears. Ralph Mawyer
The little springs that trigger the lights on/off are problematic and can be causing current loss. When they work, they are nice, but even Service isn’t a fan of them. I have two spares. 😉 2 2020 Legacy Elite II : Hull 625 - 2013 Lexus LX 570 San Antonio/Boerne - Texas Hill Country
bsullivan
I have one under cabinet touch light that goes from dim to on but never goes off. And one that never goes on. I love these lights but they seem to be sketchy. I hope they are easy to replace. I will try once the weather warms up.

You might want to send a PM to Forum member Patriot since I believe that he successfully replaced at least one of his touch lights. SteveCr
One of my touch lights behaved similar. I ended up discovering the cover had vibrated out of place enough to effect the touch function. Once I rotated the cover to the right position the issue disappeared.
BlueHighways
Thanks to all. You’ve given me reason to at least try to fix it. The cover on this has not been right since it was new so I’ll start there.
