Here is a video to help show you how to winterize your Oliver Travel Trailer. Note there are two valve configurations depending on the year model that can be seen at the 27 sec and 35 sec time frames in the video. Hope this helps!1 point

Electrolysis occurs when an electrically charged metal comes in contact with salt or similar elements . Since salt and many other trace elements are often found in drinking water I would use a plastic hookup. Many of the other elements found in water are corrosive over time especially if it’s well water. It would depend on the water but why take a chance. With plastic you will never strip the threads by accident. If there is leakage it’s probably because the the threads are stripped or the hose washer needs replacing.1 point

Beautiful Day in Hiawasee, GA. The day started with a trip to the Bell Mountain County Park and Historical Site. The 18 acre mountain summit originally belonged to the Cherokee Indians who were forced to leave on the Trail of Tears to reservations in Oklahoma in the 1830’s. The property was drawn in the 1832 land lottery by William Taylor and ownership changed hands several times over 183 years. In 2015 it was deeded to Towns County. The summit is interesting with 50 years of historical graffiti on surrounding rocks, the Hal Herrin Overlook, and a 115 step observation deck to view the area. Posting views of Lake Chatuge and surrounding Appalacian mountains. The following photos were taken with my old iPhone 5s, so not the best quality but still some awesome photos. Following our trip we headed over to the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds for the fall festival and enjoyed a Bluegrass contert featuring Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder. All in all, a very fine day! Solution awesomeness!!! Ryan is an expert with this product and is a pro at remotely helping with very detailed step by step instructions. So anyone looking for help along these lines...... First try disconnecting and reconnecting the phone cord in the IPN Pro Remote. If this does not solve the problem....... Then - go to you 2512 Blue Sky control under your seat storage. Remove front panel. Disconnect and reconnect the Positive Battery Output Wire (Red wire and one closest to empty screw). *This was my magic point.* Solar panel charge lights came back on and number indicators available on IPN Pro Remote. Hope this helps someone in the future. Thanks for everybodys' input!!! Happy girl, Carole1 point

You don't need the macerator for the gray tank. After filling the black tank and letting it run out the first time, I leave the water flush system running and walk away for a few minutes to let it run. When clear water comes out, I fill it up to 80%+ to 95% at the most on accident... Lol, then pull the handle and let it run clean again. Then refill it again and it should run clean from start to finish, letting you know that it's perfectly clean. These 2 movies go together but had to be listed separately on this page,so there's another page now... Haha Oliver :) Reed1 point

Thank you all for the input. We will be posting all types on Maintenance & Care videos along with our How-To video series that will be more on the general features of our travel trailers. We will be posting them as we get them and hope to have most done within the next month or so.1 point

I was thinking there was a quick reference made at one point for care and maintenance, but not 100% if it has been updated according the model/year. I'll double check and have the team put something together. We are working on an entire "how-to" video series that will include everything covered at delivery, plus frequently asked questions. We will try to have these done within the month. We have shot several videos, but have not had time to cut/edit them. We will be adding them to our Youtube channel as we complete them. The team is also working on a new "ticketing" system for service/warranty issues so we can track any issues our customers may have. It will allow owners to submit issues, view the status and allow our management team a better understanding of manpower needs. Our forum here is a great tool to learn from our customers and make our trailers better, but we don't always have a lot of time to read through all the posts. The ticketing system will be just a better way of handling our service/warranty needs of our customer with quicker response times. We hope to get the ticketing system live within the next few weeks. Included in the ticketing system will be a knowledge base of frequently asked questions & answers that we can build upon as "service & support" tickets are completed. Hope everyone has a great weekend!1 point

I just reserved a long pull thru site with hookups (no sewer) along a COE lake on the Snake River near Pasco WA. It is rated "Prime" with mature shade trees and direct beach access. The reservation is for a Wednesday, it is booked solid on other days. http://www.freeguidetonwcamping.com/Oregon_Washington_Main/Washington/Southeast_WA/Fishhook_Park.htm $13.00, then I applied my America The Beautiful Senior Pass discount: $6.50 Total! There are several other Corps campgrounds along the river, with dispersed primitive camping, completely free. When we were in the East after collecting Mouse, I hated paying the high rates there.... and low cost campgrounds are virtually non- existent. I enjoyed revisiting TN after 35 years, but I can't say I will miss it any.... John Davies Spokane WA1 point

I've used several hoses for our Oliver. I threw the Rhino hose in the trash can and bought a Valterra D04-0450 Viper 15' Sewer Hose Kit from Amazon. You can get it either at Amazon or Camping World. I also bought a 10 foot Valterra extension hose and attached it. Now I have a 25 foot sewer hose that stays permanently attached to the Oliver until I take it off when I get home for cleaning. I have never had the Valterra pull apart like the Rhino. Unfortunately the part that goes into the sewer hole will not fit into the rear bumper compartment so I just detach it and keep it in a breadbox in the rear storage compartment until needed. If you do a little research, you will find out why the Valterra is much harder to pull apart than the Rhino which scared hell out of me every time I used it. For water hose and black tank hook up, I bought from Home Depot three Garden Hose Quick-Connect Kits. They cost about $7 each. I screwed the male ends into water connections on the trailer black tank, city water, and water tank connections and leave them permanently attached to the trailer. I leave the female connected to trailer male section until I start to use it, then disconnect the female - screw it onto the water hose, then reattach it to the trailer, then turn water on. The Quick-Connects make using water lines very, very easy. When traveling, I screw the black dust caps onto the Quick Connects. I'm sure your quite confused by my pitiful attempt to explain all of this, but if you purchase the Quick Connects and play with them for a few minutes you'll get the idea. Can't make any suggestions for rainy days other than to say that in 2013, we bought a new 40 foot Tiffin diesel pusher which we had for about seven months, until a very large semi totaled us. We bought an Oliver Legacy Elite II and have traveled for about 40,000 miles all over this country, including Alaska. Ask the Oliver folks and they will tell you this is true. We loved the very expensive Tiffin, but my wife and I love the Oliver much, much more. Sometimes at our home in Florida but today we are in Wyoming. Hap1 point
