  1. Thanks, I had not seen the trailer tour. It continues to PISS me off that the hidden storage areas are shown to the world in videos and mainstream magazine articles... With enough exposure they are no longer secret, which was the whole point of putting them there. These should only be shown to future owners or on a private tour. Anyway.... that horse has left the barn, thanks again. John Davies Spokane WA

  3. To say its Hot in Florida this summer is an understatement. Add to that the humidity and you don't want to be outside. But just how hot is it? I wanted an outside remote thermometer for our Oliver just so I would know what I was walking into. Found an inexpensive one at Amazon with good reviews from - ThermoPro TP60 $18.00. http://a.co/dVuRtBu Took only a few minutes to setup and it came with batteries. I used heavy duty Velcro on both the backs of the remote and the display. Placed the remote unit under the solar panels on the wiring hub and the display unit next to the AC thermostat. Now I know. Oh look, its only 88 degree outside with 84% humidity... at 8am. Heading to the pool,

  4. Nice video, though I agree with the above. I realize that it's part of the sales pitch but Oliver staff should definitely ask people to not video those compartments. Perhaps also, Oliver could ask Dori & Mena to edit those bits out (are they forum members?). I'm curious about the new drawer clasp - would like to see it in person and see if it can be retrofitted. New fridge is nice. Just go ahead and store whatever in these compartments labeled "Warning: Not Storage". (I do, lol.) I'm not a fan of the shower curtain track - the stainless rods are just a far superior solution. And why Oliver doesn't put a mirrored cabinet door in the bath as standard is beyond me. Generally, it's always interesting how many of the features they tout were pioneered by owners.

  5. Thanks for bringing this up John! There is absolutely NO reason why this should be known to anyone not in the Oliver family. Do people reveal these hidden spots when showing there trailers? I sure as hell don’t. No need to know EVERYTHING till you put down your money!

  6. Hello All, just picked up hull 389 early November. Drove from Hoehnwald to NE Florida in heavy rain, no leaks. Two nights ago, got caught in a sideways rain, almost horizontally hitting the dinette and street side rear window, about 2 inches in under an hour. Both windows were open so water got inside but when closed the dinette window kept leaking. I suspect that the channels were already full and that didn't help. Level trailer and clear weep holes. My solution will be to check the porch light seals, try the pipecleaner trick, and try to run down some rv gutters which in my opinion all RV's should have anyway. But is there a particular brand of RV gutter that works with an Oliver? Thanks, Mingy

  7. Mingy - As per Sherry's suggestion on the gutters - https://www.amazon.com/RV-Gutter-Ultra-White-UW025004/dp/B00LE0CC24/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1546265260&sr=8-8&keywords=rv+gutter If you decide to get this product there are a couple of reviews of it here on the Forum. Remember to clean, clean and clean again before applying and (if you can) only apply it when you know the temperatures will be warm - above 80 is very nice. Bil
