  1. Look at a lot of city and tour buses. Car dealers shuttles.. a lot of these folks use wraps to advertise their services. You know the dealer peals the wrap off and sells the shuttles as plain used cars. You can see through the windows. A lot of graphic/design shops install these as well. Who does your local police? We use Banana Banners, Bowdoinham, Maine. Prices vary depending on complexity of the design. It is impressive to look at, window trim is done too. I like the stuff that looks like kevlar fiber...
  2. Has there been any updates on the replacement gaskets? Defective gaskets? Streak cause? As a sidebar: we have used small tubes of GE Silicone, that you can squeeze by hand, to put around outdoor electrical boxes. For outside outlets and switchboxes it is recommended that a sealant is used with the enclosed gasket. We have used the GE Sealant exclusively and never had a moisture intrusion. We did notice the sun seemed to dry out the gasket, but with the sealant not a problem. It is available at the big box lumber yards, and I assume at other local hardware stores. No waiting. I always carry a tube in the toolbox...
  3. We had reservations that were just "we'll give you a site, first come first served" when you get here type thing. We called to see if we could lock down someplace specific and low and behold--- they had already done it. We talked with a young Lady there and very nice, easy to talk with, and a true professional. The start to what promises to be a fun weekend...
  4. Thank you, we have will put it on our list of possibles...
  5. Thank you. Was that a random e-mail, or a reply to a question? What about the wheel? Seeing the wheels are both 16", are they the same width? In other words, are the trailer wheels and the spare wheel the same exact wheel?
  6. Thank you. That's what I was thinking it was. I had found it someplace, but wasn't sure where, and Buzzy told me that to. But I didn't want to quote a pressure, until we were sure, and could quote a source. So, 90 to 95 ft. Lbs. it is...
  7. The mental image of you loading farts into the valve stem will keep me laughing all winter. Please don't try to explain how you actually did it, and how you know the percentage. I read the Elite II 2016 owners manual and it said be sure of proper torque on the wheels. It is listed in there NO where. It said take, or refer to a professional? I will keep looking. Looks like another question to call on...
  8. Early yet...best to call...that is our plan, not sure if going to be a running change or an option? Either way, we do NOT want a mismatched wheel and tire. Not sure about filling a tire with anything but air. Sure it is not a gimmick?
  9. also the XX/XXRXX of the spare tire, as I believe it is a lower aspect ratio, and possibly a smaller wheel size as well? Rumor is there is a larger cover now that will take a full size tire and wheel, but not sure that the mount will fit?
  10. We have camped in Florida at Oleno. One of those places where there were more deer than people. It was a former town that died when Flagler took his trains along the coast to Miami. The 6000 acre State Park was a home to train supervisors during Depression reconstruction. There are interesting structures everywhere...
  11. I have a 1 1/8" socket for the water heater anode, (and a spare anode with teflon tape). A wrench (Harbor Freight) that fits the ball (which could double as an extension for the breaker bar), just need a socket for the truck. Also have a AAA card. Just found out about the larger spare cover. That is what I will call about come Monday. Also reading the owners manuals today (courtesy of Buzzy) it states in there in mulitiple places that it is unsafe to operate the trailer with different size tires. Hence I want a full size spare. I think I like the idea of moving the plate to the left. Don't like the idea of messing with wires on the side of the road at night. Especially if you can't put the cover back on if you have a full size tire. I can put/make a plug, decal or something over that ugly hole. The rubber like on a loading dock might work, except maybe heavy? Thank you for the ideas. Should keep me mostly out of trouble for a couple of days...
  12. Thank you. I can switch it to a 6", and we just happen to have a 'spare' 6pt. 3/4". Now to switch to a full size spare. The owners manual, in a couple of places, warn about different size tires...
  13. What size are the lug nuts. Have a breaker bar, a torque wrench, and 8" extension, just need to add the right socket. (Hope I don't need a 10' 'extension pipe')...
  14. I now use EcoSave exclusively. The small bottle of scented usually last me all season. I put about a capful of it, long with about a cupful or so of water at the start of a trip. It "splash blends" as we go down the road. Kind of lubes the bottom of the tank and wakes up the microbes. No formaldehyde, and would never put bleach in...I do carry a bottle of the dry, just in case I run out of the other. But I am lazy, and just splash the 'about right' amount in when needed.
  15. Toilet Chemical... what do you mostly use? We have lately used Eco-Save. We like scented, just because of the scent. The dry is just right for boon docking as it last so long, and it lubricates valves. A nice thing is it can freeze, shake it, works fine. First saw it used at a campground dump station. A newbie had a sun damaged blue 'stinky' hose that broke, and lost it's content all over the ground. It was a real hot dry day. The CG owner raked and shoveled any solids and flushed away in the bathouse.. He then put about an ounce or so of Eco-Save and some water in a spray bottle and spray covered the area. I watched the area that weekend and never a hint of odor or problem. I like it because it is not chemical based. They don't even recommend it is used ntil there is waste in the tank. Doesn't seem to be mass marketed, but available at a lot of campgrounds. Their web site list where its available in your state.
  16. We went with one with a heavier weight limit. Have always erred on the side of safety, because it is me that I am putting into harms way...
  17. Hopefully they find a "cure", and implement the change going forward, as we are early in the build cycle...
  18. Curious what the inside opening of the hatch might be. Would a piece of close cell foam glued to the inside of the compartment possibly prevent a star crack when changing tanks? It is closer now to the fiberglass.
  19. You do have a nice view, but.........! How many sets of legs did you find you needed for ridge pole rigidity? Did you run pool noodles on edges of solar panels? Thanks..
  20. Looks like a winner. Those ice crystals look nice too. Does New Hampshire, with their view tax, tax them too? What did you make the support structure from? CPVC pipe would be my guess as light, white, strong, and come apart easy to store. Wonder if they could get up there to put shrink wrap on like they do boats?
  21. Only one page will show..never going s to two or more?
  22. Brochure list 12" brakes on 2016/2017. Must be an automatic updatem Hope so, and would make sense...
  23. A. Not on huild sheet B. Think Sales Office has me on Caller ID C. Have not received our unit yet. D. Sorry Checked all spec sheets, build sheets... Nothing mentioned...finally found in the brochure that they have 12" brakes, so we have to assume the heavier axle. As today was it's official start date, I hesitated to call. Wonder what time (EST) they open tomorrow?
