2026 YM Oliver awning style windows and other changes
Patriot replied to Patriot's topic in Ollie Modifications
For those members who don’t do FB, here is recent pic of a few 26 YM interior updates from the Oliver FB page. I am seeing the fiber-granite sinks, a vent over the closet door where the pervious speaker use to be mounted. A new Bluetooth speaker, induction cook top, a texture wet bath wall, under cabinet switch lights, a new bath door, and the white belly band. 🇺🇸 -
2026 YM Oliver awning style windows and other changes
Patriot replied to Patriot's topic in Ollie Modifications
John, & @routlaw Rob, My understanding is that its a (Lippert) Bonded 3000 series glass window. David -
Bob, I think you’re wise to give Oliver an opportunity to tackle it. I hope they get you fixed up. Please post up what you learn as could really help another member should this issue arise again. Thanks!
-
Excellent point! I went ahead and signed up for the monthly parasitic draw $5 fee. 😏
-
Good to know Mike, I wonder if you will need it at all. We never had an issue last fall on our 48 day trip out west. Our Mini worked great. Safe Travels to Lake Tahoe!

Million Dollar Highway in a half ton truck with LE2?
Patriot replied to routlaw's topic in Towing an Oliver
@jd1923 Here is a link to what may help you with an answer on the used Super Duty you are looking at. You will likely need to register on the forum if you want to ask questions. Other than that lots of reading. I hope this helps! https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum30/ Open source says - The 2015 Ford Powerstroke is equipped with a 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine and a 6R140 TorqShift heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission. As for the rear pumpkin, you would may want to call the owner and verify specs. -
Ron, you mean Demonic Penguin? 😄 That’s what I use to call that loud jet engine…lol. Sold my old Demonic to a guy with a food truck for $600 after hauling it back from Oliver post Truma install.
-
That’s terrible. Hopefully they will take extra care with the next shipment. Free shipping for your troubles? Can’t hurt to ask.
-
3 years in and zero issues with the Truma Aventa condensate lines clogging here. We just make sure that our trailer is dead level and all is good. 😊 As I recall I never had issues with the “Demonic AC” either. 🤔

A few Oliver showroom floor photos of the Lippert awning style windows installed on 26 YM Olivers. It’s my understanding from Oliver that these windows will allow for retro fit on existing Olivers. Pricing on the retro fit of all (5) windows has not been announced yet. 3” max opening. Black interior frame and pull down roller shade. Also note the new white belly band.

I will chime in since Mike is traveling, yes we have a Jackery and it runs the SL mini fine. In fact it does a great job running our Truma Frig/freezer as well. A great little power bank.
-
It will be interesting to see a year from now or possibly sooner if SL increases their $5 monthly parasitic draw. What else could happen? 🤷♂️ 😄
-
Bob, Here is an older thread that may help. Have you tried shutting the unit down completely? Sometimes this will allow the unit to reset itself. If that does not work I would contact Truma. You may need a new circuit board from what I have read in the thread below.
-
Disappointed with this newly added “parasitic $5.00 monthly draw. The optics alone give it a nickel and dime approach. I would not be surprised to see this fee will slowly continue to go up. We may explore just canceling our service over the winter months when we are not using the it. 🤔

I had 10 mil XPEL PPF installed on our Oliver a few years ago, it’s holding up great. It’s worth the money spent if you want to protect the gelcoat. Also a good set of rear flaps is worth the investment. Here is a link to a thread on my PPF install. I also had my entire tow vehicle covered in 8 mil XPEL PPF.
-
Bill, I look forward to your Super Duty build, function, and farkle! 😄 Let the “function and sparkle” begin! Also really glad your F350 fits nicely in your garage. Farkle On! 👍🏻
-
Well done Bill, I think you’re going to really like that “Minizilla” power plant. Wishing you and Debbie many happy miles in your new F350! Happy Travels! David & Kathy

I would consider giving Oliver parts a quick call. Its a long shot, but they might even have new old stock laying around for your YM. I may experience Oliver ships quickly!

Million Dollar Highway in a half ton truck with LE2?
Patriot replied to routlaw's topic in Towing an Oliver
Having traversed Teton Pass at least on 5 different occasions in both directions, I am surprised that I did not see “hot” brake check stations. Having enough room to have brake checks on the pass is likely the issue. If I recall we only saw one runaway truck ramp. Wolf Creek Pass on the other hand has a 7% grade which requires commercial vehicles to maintain a 25 mph speed limit while descending the pass. The vistas are nothing short of amazing. In Rocky Mountain NP they do have brake check pull offs. While visiting the park and not towing XPLOR, and were waived on through by the Park Police at the brake check station. The trucks we saw being pulled over for brake checks were mostly 1/2 ton gassers and many cars. @jd1923 I was surprised to read your diesel does not have an engine brake, interesting. Do you have tow/haul mode? -
We use to use our interior speakers occasionally as well. More often we use a set of portable JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth speakers and stream XM radio music or news sourced from our iphones or iPad. The sound is excellent and they are super portable! We are very happy with the Flip 6’s. They typically live on our Yamaha Umax, (pic) unless we are traveling in XPLOR. https://www.amazon.com/JBL-Flip-Bluetooth-Waterproof-PartyBoost/dp/B09RQ47HC8/ref=sr In this pic I have the set attached to our Yamaha Umax 2+2. I would not hesitate to buy again. 🎶

It must have been painted or wrapped post sale.

Just saw this pic of the 2026 Oliver “retro” interior with roller style window shades. 😳 Appears that the interior window latch may rub on the shade. Also note the white belly band instead of chrome.

Ceiling fan lid motor not working
Patriot replied to Dennis and Melissa's topic in General Discussion
@Dennis and Melissa Yes to what @Golfnut says! Put a work ticket in with Oliver so that you’re on the books for warranty. No need to give etrailer any money. Also suggest a quick phone call to Oliver to get help to trouble shoot. You are surely not the first with this issue. Post up when you learn the fix! 👍🏻😊 -

Rob, just our 6.7 diesel 1 ton, and we absolutely loved the Million Dollar Highway. We let our diesel engine brake do all the work. We would drive it again in a min.🤩
